It is generally accepted that 100,000 miles is a measure of a good vehicle. My truck idles steady at 600 rpm and continues to pull hard.

2001 4.6L Supercrew 112500 miles.
Changed Rear U-joint and Fuel Pressure Regulator, Lower Ball Joints and shocks. And yes my truck almost caught fire (smoke was rising) due to the defective Cruise Control switch which was part of a recall.
2001 XLT Ext Cab 4.6L
118,000 miles
Just replaced the coils, plugs, boots.
Horn and Cruise control don't work (broken clock spring??)
and just replaced the rear brakes for the first time.
need to flush the radiator/ transmission
and WEAK power door locks now...

1999 F-150 4.6L 4X4 Regular Cab, Short Bed
153,000 miles
Other than normal wear-parts I had to replace an alternator at 110,000 and I blew my entire rear axle (carrier and axle tubes was all that was re-used) at 148,000 miles. The axle was my fault. I drove the truck like I stole it on and off road for a VERY long time.
Engine still idles at 600 RPM, and pulls as tough as the day I got it though.
