Who is in the 100,000 mile club?
300,000 miles on a 89 2.9 Ranger when I sold it 5 yrs ago. As far as I know, the guy still drives it every day. I almost cried when I sold it. Got it new and it never left me stranded. 160,000 on a 2000 F150 I just got for my 16 yr old. 130,000 on my wifes 2000 GT Mustang. Both of these still purr like a kitty.

Trying to figure out how to fix it (a loud rattle like the third door is loose). It starts on the first crank and idles totally smooth. I want a 4x4, but have no reason to get rid of this one. It still looks new from 20 feet away! (Love the True Blue color).
BTW: What does an out of balance driveshaft sound like? I've been balancing tires like crazy to get rid of a "woomwoomwoom" sound. I only hear it under power and going down a smooth road.

190k on my dad's '01 screw. Only problems thus far: a coil pack and the idle control solenoid. Unfortunately, I don't think the truck has much life left in it. Either the torque converter or another coil pack is going out. It shudders under low accel, and just today started to feel like its missing intermittantly at idle. Eh, how many vehicles do you know of that will go close to 200k miles without any major mechanical issues. $3000 in maintenance over its lifespan so far (minus oil changes) isnt bad.
99 f150 s/c w/4.6, 202,000, still rides like new. 97 expedition 5.4, wife's truck w/ 200,000 on it, it's the only car she hasn't destroyed in 50,000 mi! 89f150s/c w/ 300 6 cyl, drove for 10 yrs, got 180,000 on it when i traded for the 99, it's still working as a excavators truck around town!i was a bowtie boy for years, but those nos. are hard to beat!

I have a 95 F-150 4x4 5.0 Auto with 285,000 on it. Only things changed on it are the oil pressure sender, Mass Air Flow Sensor, Radiator, U Joints, Lower Ball Joints, Timing gears/chain, and Rear Main Seal. Still sounds like a new engine. Great truck.
