My '01 Supercab XLT Sport sitting at 259,600 miles. I only drive it maybe 3,000 miles / year at this point BUT it once again needs a new fuel pump (replaced once before @ abt 12 years) and it looks like Motorcraft doesn't make them any more - or at least no one has them, Ford parts site says back ordered with no date for stocking them again. The made in China replacements all come with horror stories about failing after a few months so I am loathe to pay to put in an aftermarket fuel pump at great expense just to see it fail.
Original engine / tranny. 3 radiators, 2 heater cores (now just bypassed), an alternator, fuel pump, air conditioning compressor, side mirror, headlight / parking light housings, front suspension repair, several sets of tires, brake pads, a couple of rotors, maybe 4 batteries, couple of hoses, serpentine belt, plugs/COP's , thermostats.
Burns oil a bit but it has easily passed California smog every other year. It probably will this year too if the fuel pump works enough to get me to a smog check station.
It's been a decent truck - gas mileage is not great, but reliable save for when something on it dies. I have to think I've gotten my money's worth, I paid $28,000 for exactly 20 years ago.
Unfortunately, newer F-150's are a few inches longer and so a super cab or super crew simply won't fit in my garage. So a regular cab in a full size or I just say screw it and do the old man thing and get a Honda ridgeline ;-) Heresy for sure ...
I've got a 2005 f-150 4.6 with 360,000 hard miles and I added cold air and a edge programmer at about 250, it still runs great, only thing I've had to replace
mechanical was the alternator.
Definitely knocking on wood regularly.
The white 4.6L was a daily driver and work truck that I pulled a trailer with on the interstate regularly and the worst issue I had was a blown upper radiator hose that reaked havoc on my plugs & wires. Replaced the hose, wires & plugs and she's still running great. Easy to work on and very dependable.
The 5.4L was a program vehicle well cared for but it has a little stuttering issue I'm dealing with right now (I have a post in the forums). Overall a great motor except the placement of the rear spark plugs is a knuckle biter! Haven't experienced the plugs blowing out yet(?)
I've also owned a Ranger, 3 F150's ,and 3 Explorers. The Expy's allow me to carry alot more tools and just lock them in at night.
I've had other trucks in the past but the

I just had mine replaced with a new Motorcraft. Have you checked NAPA?
Just turned 100K and have only had to replace the starter and do normal maintenance. Awesome truck. Have the full tow package and pull a 30' travel trailer all around the US.
2014 f150 3.5 eco boost 262,000 miles. Valve cover is leaking a little oil and wen brought to shop water pump is leaking. can I swap it for a crate 5.0 coyote.
