Who is in the 100,000 mile club?
2006 Lariat 5.4 is at 138,200 miles now. Bought it six years ago with 100,000 miles on it. Since then I just got my bearings and main gears on the rear axle replaced, as it started making noises, but it was not really bad, so not really necessary. Other than that just a yearly oil service and brake fluid every other year. It runs great and I really see no reason for trading it in in the next years.
1999 Lightning has 107,600 miles on it. Bought it with 105,000 miles 18 months ago. Just a hobby thing for the summer season! This one had the engine replaced at 98,000 miles as the previous owner was fiddling around with it a bit too much.
So the current engine only has about 40,000 miles on it (was taken from a wrecked Lightning).
I really love how Ford is building these trucks. A close friend of mine has a 2003 GMC Sierra and this one is just feeling like a used up thing, while Ford trucks are still pretty much free of rattles and noises at the same age.

2000 F150 XLT 5.4 - 300,000 miles
In May 2019, my 2000 F150 XLT Crewcab turned 19 years old, and turned 300,000 miles on the odometer. The second owner, driving it since 2002, starting at @ 48,000 miles.
I do all mechanical repairs and regular maintenance myself. No vehicle crashes. No oil or transmission leaks/drips.
Original - 5.4L Triton Engine, transmission, and body.
Significant Repairs over the years: No.8 cylinder heli-coil repaired spark plug hole after plug ejected [@ 200k miles]; Intake Manifold replaced; AC system replaced; Fuel Pump replaced [twice]; Ball Joints and Upper & Lower Control arms; Right rear Axe and wheel bearings/seals, due to failed wheel brearing/damaged seal.
It has been a great truck!
