Who is in the 100,000 mile club?
im now on my second f150 with over 100k, both are/were great trucks. when my 97 got totalled with 180k they took the motor out and put in in another truck, its still running. i just broke 100k with my new one and plan to run it till its dead.
100,000 miles
Just hit 100K miles on my 02' F-150 yesterday. Still runs great, had to repalce the plugs, coil pack, etc.. at about 90K miles but other then that it's been a great truck to me.
188,000 miles on my '99.
My brother has 196,000+ miles on his 2003.
These were fleet trucks in their prior life (which is why they have high miles). A couple of COP's replaced on each one, new alternator on mine. That's the extent of the major repair.

170,000 miles- minimal oil consumption(4.6l)
Had to change the AC compressor yesterday. It leaked the oil of the seal between the 2 compressor halves. I will reseal it for a spare.
Runs great-looks great. If there is a better vehicle built I don't know what it would be. I have had Toyota pick ups and compared to my F150 they are JUNK (Jap crap as they are called at the local NAPA store)

121,000 miles on my 1997 F-150. i got this truck from my uncle when it had about 98,000 miles on it he used it on a tree farm. runs good no oil burn the biggest thing that ive had to have replaced was the Rear diff. i blew it
when i was doing a burn out...it was about a 1/2 inch low on fluid
and it had gone on the tree farm all that time and i do alot of hard lunchs and lots and lots of burn outs...stock tires lasted about 6 months after i got the truck. got some bigger 265 dunlap rovers and saw how much tires cost and havnt done a burn out with them yet lol. 4.6L with cold air on it tryin to get the best MPG i can outta it when i got it and everything was stock i was geting 10MPG after all the mods ive done to it i get about 15-16 in city and around 20 highway i < 3 my cold air

I'm right at 121,000 on my '97 4x4 XL SCAB 4.6 auto. No real trouble, no oil burning or leakage, plug wires around 90,000 plugs at 110,000. Over all very good truck still & still looks good. I plan on keeping it for many more miles. Mine has a build date of Feb. of '96 which I guess is early in the production run for '97 model year trucks. I get around 14-15 mpg with 265 /75-16 tires.

I just hit 209k the other on my 97 F150 4.6 4x4 Lariat Scab. I plan driving mine until the wheels fall off or rust gets the best of it. Mine has a build date of March of 96. So in reality our trucks are 11 years old according to the build date.

im not even close to 100k
1999 reg cab with 56,000 few issues, nothign major at all. im just really picky about this truck. only thing i forsee in the next 50,000 miles needing fixed would be
Coil packs, brakes, tires, maybe brake lines (salt corrosion), thermostat

I have 209k on my 97 F150 4.6 auto 4x4. I plan to keep it till it dies, and when it does I'll get a new motor and keep her going.
I have 165K on my 95. She is still running good, all original except for normal wear and tear, ( water pump, alt., a couple of u-joints). Living in WI the body has very little rust, one small spot below the driver's side passenger window. Still get pretty decent mileage yet, would like to see a little more power on the lower end, it only has a 302 and it's a 4x4 long wheel base super cab. I will have this truck a lot more years, really enjoy it!!
Turned 200,000 miles a week ago on my 98 F150. First plugs and wire change at 150,000. Has never burned or leaked oil and engine compartment still looks new. Only repair thus far was to change mass air flow and air idle. Shooting for 300,000.
