Looks like 154000 is all I get

Monday morning I started my truck and there was a tin can bouncing underneath my hood. Funny thing was after driving about 10 miles it stopped. It did it again when I left work, 10 miles no more tin can. Tuesday same thing, except this time I think I will not try to drivr it home and let the mechanic figure this one out.

180,000 and 210,000

Just broke 180k with my current ride. '92 150, the old 300. She doesn't seem to have much left in her these days, but my previous 150, same year same motor, was over 210k and never ran better. Was like a dream, until a drunk driver t-boned it. And even then, bent frame and all, it ran straight as an arrow down the road. Alas, the drunks insurance offered me more money than I had paid for it 5 years earlier. I had to take it at the time, but kicking myself in the **** over it now. Also, my uncles ole girl was about to cross 400k before he got tired of plywood floor boards where it had rusted away, finally canned her. It was a sad day.

Just turned 100k this past week. Brakes and Tires are the most significant major work that it's required.

2004 SuperCab 4x4 5.4L (new body style)

My 02 XLT FX4 5.4 is at about 114k, only one minor repair which was a seal between the transmission and transfer case that needed to be replaced because the tranny was leaking into the transfer case, rest was all maintenance...plugs, belt, tires, brakes, filters, etc...have had a little issue with the paint since day one, I have minor rust along the inside bottom of both front doors and along the inner/bottom seam of the tailgate...other than that-good truck! Oh, almost forgot-dime size hole along seem in muffler but it is a Minnesota/South Dakota truck-so I was expecting a rusty muffler some time down the road.

Later

they never let me down, well maybe once

i could have swore i already put my name in the club..i guess not.
i have an 88 150 302 with 178k on it, and if i would have changed the waterpump(and not let my buddy drive it) it would still be goin.. .. anyway now it is gettin all kinds of goodies before she hits the road again, hopefully sometime soon
my wife drives(daily) a 92 bronco 6in of susp. lift 33"s and 235K rebuilt tranny at about 200 after a really rough road in the mountains took out the front seal. we also have a 93 escort, my beater/ dd with 24k showing and i honestly dont know if it is 124k or 224k it was showing eighty sumthin when we got it for a whopping $250 bucks cuz it needs valve seals,(i guess not too bad i never got around to putting them in) all i ever owned is fords.. well i had a montero for a while and i still have a bmw(it need a 302 tween' the fenders)

At 117K now. It'll be going on a 1,000 mile road trip the weekend of March 3rd, and a 2,000+ mile road trip at the end of March/beginning of April (STL to NJ and back)

I have already posted, but I hit 197000 today in my 97 F150 4.6 auto 4x4. The odometer reading right now is 197005. Only uses about 3/4 qt every 3000 miles.
