Who is in the 100,000 mile club?
I have 190,000 and some change on a 1992 flareside. I really have not done any real repairs, just the normal wear and tear (knock on wood). I hope to get a few more out of it. It does need a paint job though. I don't know how long somebody can get one of those to last.
154,000 on a 1995 F150 standard cab 5.0L and still solid other than the usual rust starting to form on the fenders and rocker panels (Minnesota truck......)
Also have a 1994 F150 extended cab with a 4" lift and 33" BFG AT's - 46,000 "summer only" miles. Long, long time till it hits the 100k mark....

100,000 this morning no power train problems at all. One set of brakes front and rear, lower ball joints, one set of tires (soon need another set). plugs and many oil/filter changes. Diff front seal at 15,000 (under warranty) Get 18 mpg highway an 10 mpg in 4X4
209,949 Miles
You probubly won't believe this, I hardly do.
1997 F150 4x4 / 4.6L with 209,949 miles tonight when I filled up.
I was getting 16 to 17 MPG, up until now.
I recently installed a Troyer Performance Fan Kit, Underdrive Pulleys and Removed a Plow Mount and reistalled the front Valance under the bumper.
I just returned from a 172 mile round trip, at least 165 miles on the Highway.
I filled up just prior to leaving here, and again first thing upon my return.
Get this 20+ MPG I forget the decimal.
I'm floored that I got that type of milage in any truck, much less my Fullsize 4x4 with over 200,000 miles original on the Drive Train.
I do have Amsoil In the Engine and Royal Purple in the Differentials, but thoughs have both been in for awhile now so they can't account for the gains I got today.
20 MPG, YAHOO

Man, some of you drive alot! I haven't been reading this forum long, and when I first saw it, I thought this may have been a recently started thread. Then I looked at the date of the original post, May 2000! Some of you were clicking over 100K back then. That amazes me. My 1997 F150 4.6 has 131K miles, but it took 9 1/2 years to get there.
Another cool thing about this, at 91K+ Views, it won't be long before this thread joins the 100K club.

I just turned 101,563 miles. Never had a major issue with it just your general wear and tear. 2000 XLT 4X4, getting 15 MPG Highway, in D.C. Traffic I get 10 MPG. that being said, I'm looking at adding an exhaust, intake, throttle body, tuner, and a couple other things, anyone have any advise as to the repercussions, if any, of adding these types of parts to a high milage engine?
99 scab 5.4 2wd I poster #160 almost 3 years ago, and I now have 173000 miles. Since 2003 I've replaced the battery/alternator, #3 coil, and front discs. I have yet to replace anything else. I'm getting on average 15mpg in D/FW traffic 25 miles each way to work.
107,500
107,500 miles on my 98 f150 4x4 reg. cab!
Had it since it was new, no problems until last week when that damn heater core went out, started to just bypass it, but i really will need the heat this winter. So i broke down and had it fixed, ran me $1000.
Hope no other problems for awhile. Besides the heater core, no problems at all, changed spark plugs at 100,000 and changed one battery, has been a great truck so far. For a $50 part to run $1000 is amazing to me, no matter if you do have to remove the dash!

Firstly, thanks to all the people who have posted to this thread, it has made some good reading, Am new to this forum and would like to add to this thread, as I think, not only are the f150s great, but wanted to tell you about my other ford vehicles.
My son owns a 2002 xlt 4x4 5.8L with 221,000 kms (136,000 miles) no problems with this unit, just regular oil changes at every 5000km, anyone know when the timing chain will need to be replaced, all seems fine, but has he does a lot of highway miles up in the north of Alberta, was considering changing it, but by the sound of the threads I have read, it doesnt seem like they get changed all that often.
I also own 1995 Ford ranger, 4x2, 2.3L 4 cylinder, with 245000km (151,000 miles) runs great, most of the kms have been put on in town, only work done on it, is new brake pads and shoes, serpentine belt, replaced timing belt at 140000km, added a K&N air filter and regular L.O.F
And up until about 2 months ago my wife drove a 1989 Ford festiva, 1.3L which had over 262,000km (162000 miles) on it, I bought it at an auction about 3 years ago with 200000km on it, needed a bit of work, new brakes, tires, exhaust, air filter etc, reg oil changes, but in the end had to take to the scrape yard as it was starting to show signs of its age and didnt think it would make it through another tough Canadian winter, all of these vehicles are/where driven on a daily basis in some harsh conditions (-30 degree c) never had any real problems with any of them, fingers crossed
.
