Who is in the 100,000 mile club?
My '93 f150 XL just passed 91,000, about 50 of which I drove on it. Just got it a week ago. Considering it was driven mostly loaded chuck full of stuff and used as a work truck, it is surprisingly quiet on the road. No rattles, clunks, idiot lights on, steering is nice and tight. I can honestly say I was surprised by how "car-like" the ride is, it doesn't drive like a 13 year old pickup.
My 1997 V6 has over 225K and counting. Had to rebuild the tranny at about 210K, but I did use it as a delivery truck with tons of idling and stop and go driving. Now that I think about it, that engine probably has the equivalent of 300K miles on it.
180K miles
1997 F150 4.6 ltr just turned 180,000 with no problems. First plug and wire change was at 130K. No major issues since I changed the troublesome lower manifold gasket at first symptom. Faulty plug wire made me think the 4R70W was slipping. Wrong.
1999 Expedition 72K miles....no issues but heater core.

Well forgive me I just bought a used 2004 2x4 Lariat 5.4 and just have a little over 45,000 on it now. But I also have a 1989 Ford Ranger 2.9 V6 with 195,000 on it. It runs just as good as the day I bought it. The engine has never seen the mechanics bay. Besides the normal oil, belts, plugs, I have only needed a automatic transmission at 150,000 and a waterpump at 175,000 (just a tattle tale drip). I replaced the brushes ($2.73) in the orginal alternator at around 100,000. It still runs very stong. Opps, almost fogot, also did U joints around 100,000.
We'll you all can believe it or not, but i have a 1994 with the 5.0 and i just replaced the motor... The old engine served its time very well it was my dads old work truck and he kept the engine up... It turned over 335,760 miles b4 it just burnt out... Not a single cylinder wall was scratched just the pistons were paper then.... FORD POWER>>>FORD ENDURANCE!!

right up there with "Oil".
