Who is in the 100,000 mile club?
o well, even a ford I6 wont last long when grandpa lugs it all the time, and never changes oil. i bet in the original engine, he changed the oil every bit of 10 times. LOL!
Ok, got to chime in. Nothing too great, but I bought my 95 F-150 with 100 k and it now has 137 k.
Used to own a 88 F-150 with a 300. Bought it with 97,000 miles showing. My brother now drives it and I think it says somewhere around 240,000. Poor thing leaks oil like crazy. My brother just finished school and got a job, now maybe he can afford to fix it.
No engine work on either. Clutches in the 88 and several altenator jobs. Nothing much on mine, battery and u-joints. 88 will probably get retired to ranch work when my brother buys a new truck. Love the Ford trucks!

My 99 5.4L has 105K on it, and I was underneath it fixing the trans linkage (another post) and I'm amazed how clean it was. Not a drop of oil or fluid. These are good vehicles, no doubt about it. Still quiet, solid. Tows the travel trailer with ease, hauls all the stuff the kids and neighbors need. I'd buy another one.

Hey guys
My 1997 F150 2wd swb 4.2L triton w/ manual tranny has made it to 267,000 miles. I just started having issues with the exhaust (cats & O2 sensors). But, nothing but maintenance until now.

I have 119,000 miles on my 1998 4.6 F150 4x4 . I have never changed the plugs . It is still getting the same mileage . So
I will change the filters next month for quaterly maintaince. I will swap out the plugs then . They don't owe me a thing.

Hoss has around 134K. No major issues. Had ball joints, pitman arm and front break pads replaced. I replaced my front bumper due to a minor fender bender (wife’s fault). I service the oil frequently always using Motocraft. Also had the tranny fluid replaced around 65k. Other than that, no issues.
Hoss is my first truck, and I’m glad I went with the Blue Oval!

Whoops, I missed this thread earlier. Lessee- my current '94 Ranger 4.0 has 139K and runs excellent (my only baby truck). My previous was an '88 F150 5.0 that I bought new and had 197K on it when I traded it 9 years later on the Ranger. At least 125K of that was pulling a trailer. During that time I also had a '78 F250 with '77 Lincoln 460. Dunno the mileage since the speedometer didn't work, but it ran like a scalded dawg and would pass anything but a gas station. It didn't care how heavy of a load you put on it. Before that was an '82 F150, only owned that for a year so I don't remember the mileage. Before that was my first truck, a '71 F100 with a 360 and C-6 auto. It was tired and beat when I got it and I thrashed it for several years. Odometer had been zeroed when I got it so who knows how many times it rolled over.
Almost forgot the work trucks- a '79 F350 that I rebuilt practically from the frame up and a '75 F350 dump that I only owned for 6 months but my business plans changed. That truck could have made me some money but it wasn't meant to be I guess.
My '02 F150 Lariat has 41K on it so far.

138k
My 97 4x4 4.6 will have about 138 K this weekend. No major problems, just routine maintaneance. Oh, doing the ***** joints on it now. Still runs great. Before this truck, a 91 f250 with a 460 had 122k, initially some bugs had to be worked out (I think the truck was built on a Monday), but after that no major problems. Then the 88 Bronco plow truck, this truck lead a real hard life but when I sold it with over 130k everthing was running great. I loves my Fords.
My 1993 F-150 w/351W is now at 204,000 miles and using the conversion when it had larger tires it is at 207,000 actual miles.
It pulled 5k # over 2000 miles last winter at about 193k miles with no problems. Pulls a 4k# boat on weekends, daily driver the rest of the time. Transmission was replaced at just over 100k (pulled horse trailer in first 30k miles). Engine accessories replaced over time (alternator, water pump, ps pump) Burns about 1 qt of oil per 3k miles- not too shabby for the old motor- my old Chrysler Mitsubishi 3.0L V6 did that at 90k miles, and that never pulled anything. It is acting like it has a clogged or intermittent injector right now. Great truck. I feel like I should just rebuild it when the main gaskets or bearings finally go out- the 351 is a fairly simple time proven block.

I guess Im in the "club" as well. have been for about 55K miles now on my beat to crap 98 F150. I know alot of you will probably shudder at this but the outside is full of dents that just havent been fixed yet. Shes a real work truck, never worried bout dents, dings, scratches or anything. Hopefully Ill have her fixed when my 68 bronco is done. Never had a problem mechanicaly except for an accident that bent the axle housing so i replaced that and finally changed the fuel filter for it today. Just regular oilchanges is all she wants from me(alot more than i can say for my girlfriend)
