Figured it all out today. Yanked the 2" blocks. Loosened the torsions all the way I could. Then decided to try the flip. Pain to get them out, but I figured out a good way to do it pretty quick. Flipped/flopped them, then cranked the keys all the way until they hit the crossmember, I figured it would be super low. It wasn't, it was about the same as it was before I flipped the bars when I had them uncracked. So I started backing them off until I got a decent stance. (For now.) Very slick to flip/swap them, you can lift it up to about 1.5"-2" lower than stock or let them out to however low you want it, I like it.

 

Well, the 35s are almost gone so it's time to order the drop. I'm planning on being in the 3/5 range, but was wondering if I someone could help me out with a couple pics of a 2004-2008. I'm worried about frame/crossmember to ground clearance, and I haven't really found any definitive pics that show it. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone has some side view pics they are willing to post so I could see the clearance. Fwiw, I'll be on Harley reps that are 22x9(+44), and more than likely 305/40-22( roughly 32"). Truck is a 2007 SCrew.

Put my 2" drop shackles on, pretty disappointing. Nowhere near 2" drop. SO I got creative with a set of Explorer springs I have in the garage. Not a direct swap, the pin distances are different, however, that just meant I had to keep the TOP leaf on my F150. The other two Expo leaves were considerably shorter thant the F150 leaves, although the same thickness. Plus, the overload leaf on the Expo is straight, as opposed to the curved one on the F150, so the top three can settle further than they could before. Got about two more inches drop out of it, 3-4 inches from the bumpstops. I jumped on the bumper and bottomed something, realized it was the stock shocks, no issue, I have a set of Durango air shocks here that are short enough for the F150, for when carrying loads/towing.

 

So this is what I may plan on doing to my truck. I took the front leveling kit off because it did nothing but tear everything up. That being said, what could I tear up by lowering the rear suspension.
I'm sorry if this was already asked before hand but it's too late to read all the posts.

I would really love to keep some rake but just a little bit. I tow an enclosed trailer on occasion and I hated that front leveling kit shooting my lights into the tops of trees. Is there a smaller factory block I can go with. The 04-05 has a two inch block so maybe a 1 inch possible .5" if there is such a thing.

I have new shocks front and rear coming in tomorrow for a 4x4 specs. Do I need to send the rear shocks back and get the 2wd shocks if I reduce the ride height?
If someone could dumb this down and make this short I would surely appreciate it.

Gabriel air shocks on the rear. Cheap, can adjust ride height for load. This is with 40 pounds, torsions uncranked, front bumps cut, arms clearanced, rear Belltech hanger/shackle kit, sotck F150 springs, block removed. No bottoming with the air shocks, I had them on a c-notched Durango years ago, I used to carry a 550 pounbd snowmobile in teh back, just cranked the pressure when I did it.

My lowered 4x4. I lowered it about 10yrs ago and never had a problem. It goes inthe snow sand or what ever you want throw at it

Ok, what bumper is that? With what lower valance? Did you paint the rear steps? I have been looking all over for a front that looks like that!

 

The bottom valance is for a F150 and i cant remember the name. The rear steps were panted with plastidip and I will be wrapping the rear bumper this weekend so it will be all white.

 

Is the bumper stock?
