I got a ticket for 24 over last night... cop asked what kind of brakes my truck had cause he saw me doing 100 and i was down to 60 in a second lol.... oh well, what a weekend.

 

HI!... You should see the stupid laws we got here this year. If you get caught going 50KPH over the posted speed limit your vehicle gets impounded for 7 days with you paying the tow and storage fees. You get charged with "STREET RACING" even though your not racing anyone. You can also get up to $10,000 in fines. They just made a new law called "STUNTING". But I won't even get into that one.

 

ouch dude. that sucks but it could be worse like neals sayin.

 

Call the court and tell them your going for your CDL endorsement and you can't afford to get any points on your license.

I did that and they instructed me to write the judge. Wrote the judge and two months later I got a letter back telling me to pay $100 within 15 days and I won't receive any points on my license.

It worked for me

i dunno those buyout deals only bit me in the *** again later. i was 16 and i bought out of one, it was still brought up by the prosecutor and i about laid him out. he argue'd with me about it and i got red faced pissed in that room lol, he was trying to tell me theres a difference between wreckless driving (on a DIRTBIKE) and inattentive... corrupt SOB too.

 

i've never had any problems... I had a 14 over ticket about 2 years ago, got it reduced to littering.

 

If you had not have hauled the beast in they prob. wouldn't have thought anything of it, but since you did, they were suspicious. But the ticket sucks, I got a 70 in a 55 and then a week before court, I was clocked on the brakes with the truck nose diving at 84 in a 55, I had let off, it was right at 5000rpm in 3rd, so close to 120 when I let off, but the HID's picked up the HP stripe a little late. I thankfully knew the patrolman, and got off with a warning. Got my ticket reduced to a improper equipment, and $145 later I'm free.

 

i wanna go fast but..... i think my truck will break throw a rod through the cab and kill me (i know that would never happen)

i actually got a project of mine im going to start on in about a week im rebuilding a 460 and putting all performance parts in it and putting that in my truck so i should be good to go.... ive already rebuilt the top end of the engine in my truck right now
