what was the cop driving to keep up w/ him at 167 mph?

 

they have airplanes that do radar and call to ground units.

 

had my state cop buddy radar me last spring-176 mph,glad this was a planned radar-lol

our local sheriffs watch drag racing out on the highways.. well street racing lol... One pulled me over just to look at my truck cause he heard it was fast lol.. he said he wants me to get on it when i leave, so i layed her down and roasted the tires for about 100' lol.

 

oh well ya see our local sheriff and ISP are contrived of either californians, or people who hate em. the californian cops aren't too bad usually, kinda normal guys. pull ya over, get bs'in and they warn ya.
the guys who hate the cali's movin in pull ya over and chew your *** out until u tell em you'r just trying to get to work and make a livin. lol

 

Ahhh yes, the five-o. Had my fair share of run-in's with them. Hell just got pulled over tonight, improper turn though, just a warning.

Went to the bar to get a pack of smokes, walked out and he was parked right beside my truck. I just got a ***** @ss grin on my face and so did he.

well last night sucked. im only driving my truck on the weekends now so I can save some money! but it kept dieing on me while coasting, or even accelerating slowly. and when it does, its really hard to start. I sat at the hang out spot for about an hour, and went to leave, it wouldnt start. cranked about 10 seconds, 3 different times then it fired up and ran just fine. I hate these problems. WOT is still just fine!

 

Next time you get one of those spells, try to find out if she's gettin fuel or spark. Maybe it's just something weird with the tune program?

 

lol man i know that feeling. just not with my truck, my probe is a 93 and prone to ignitor failure inside the disty...

well how old is your crank and cam sensors?

 

That would bug the p^ss out of me - After one of those spells and you get it started again finally; what does it run like in the first few seconds? Normal ? Anything different?

 

HI!... I had a similar problem a few years ago. Truck would die sometimes when I made a sharp right hand turn. Ended up replacing the PCM and it never did it again.

 

Keep an eye on the wideband when its acting up, see if it looks extremely rich or anything. Are you still running a returnless fuel system?
