The question still needs to be addressed. Either put back a set of stock cams or put back the stock intake and compare the two. Otherwise your numbers are useless. So far all we are seeing is that the 270 cam and the shorty headers are giving you more power.

You need to compare apples to apples. Slapping the intake on a modified engine and then guessing what those base #'s coulda woulda shoulda been is never going to work.

Yes it is, its just a screen cap of part of the sheet with all the information and "Mustang Dynamometer" at the top, I've got the whole thing that r3dn3ck emailed.

Patience.... Truck numbers will be coming, hopefully on a stock engine, and if I get a chance to test it I'll give some mildy modified results. I just stuck mine on a dyno recently and got a baseline of 237/308, but the truck wasn't cooled down and the a/f was at 11.5:1 so I think I would see ~250/315 with those rectified. Might be getting longtubes for x-mas (stock headers & cats with Flowmaster 3-chamber SI/SO now), if so those will be on first.

Side note, I mentioned an adapter to make the intake fit the trucks easily, here's a screen cap of the 3d cnc model...

http://www.corral.net/photopost/show...ze=big&cat=500

The HPS intake is almost 2" shorter than the 5.4 PI intake, so the plate transitions the t.b. shapes and also makes up the height difference so the egr tube and everything else will bolt right on. I'm ready to run one of those fairly soon, hopefully a run of intakes gets cast before long...

Truck #'s is all we asked. I think what JMC is saying is that the results posted are not even for the intake "advertised" and on a modified motor which in essense, make them useless for the thread topic.

My advice, if your motor as it is right now is still stock, don't install any of your Xmas gifts on it. Install the advertised intake on your stock motor only. I can guarantee you alot more people around here would be intersested to see results on a stock 5.4.

What gains can be made on the intake alone, not in conjunction with other modifications.

In order to prevent anyone from using information on the dyno sheet like my address, phone number, etc... I cropped the image. People I think are in need of the info got it emailed to them directly in unmodified form already. If you didn't that means you didn't need it.

those of you griping are obviously so stuck in a negative pattern. You expect the world overnight instead of opening your minds to a progression of information based on what's available.

So, now that we have that covered: I make more power at the wheels now than a stock NA 5.4 2v. It CAN ONLY GET BETTER with the new intake and exhaust. Do any of the negative-nancy's have a cogent intelligent argument or is it just nay-saying from the peanut gallery.

no it just looks like something made in Microsoft paint. And "It can only get better" is not correct. It could get worse if the design is not correctly done.

I make more power to the wheels than most 5.4s make at the crank. That doesn't mean shìt! I am not being negative. All I want are unbiased comparisons. Show me in a scientific way how much more power you obtained with the new intake and I will believe. It is real easy. Test #1; stock. Test #2 new intake manifold installed. Compare the difference and that is what the new manifold adds. Or even better. Install all your mods then test a stock manifold and then the new one. You sound like the fools that sell the throttle body spacer.

I understand why you ask and hope you understand me saying HELL NO... I'd be happy to send a copy to YOU personally, under a signed and notorized 1-way Non-Disclosure Agreement but I'm not going to post my address, name, license plate and vin number for everyone to enjoy and I'm not feeling really cooperative after the last 5 hater posts. I was being nice to even come back and show the dyno sheet after the way I've been treated here. Seeing as the treatment continues to be poor, I'll take my option to be a jerk.

The "design" is essentially the same but lacks the adapter plates and radical changes in air flow direction... was that unclear? So, yeah... it can only get better.

Stock intake testing grounds have been plowed. If you don't know what they make stock then don't argue the point with me.... I do know and I mentioned the numbers from tests. I'm not going to reinvent the wheel.

If you're naive enough to think that the dyno sheet is from paint... dude BELIEVE IT cuz you're not going to believe anything. I can make a fake with MS Word so posting the whole thing or the important part won't make 2 squirts of cold **** worth of difference to you. Why bother?

Wow, truly amazing.

All we here AS POTENTIAL BUYERS are telling you is what WE want to see. If YOU listen without assuming we are attacking you, you might just sell an intake or two.

You should take a lesson or two from 01Roush.

Once again, if you listen here, we have been stating to test the actual intake you first "advertised" and post #'s so we can draw our own conclusions.

Your doing a great job of alienating your potential buyers....

You know, I have no horse in this race, but it is obvious that you do.
As far as I can see your contribution to the boards is confined to this thread.

Any way, here are some examples of the way we normally see dyno graphs posted. These are much more informative. Don't you think?

Hi.

I've been following this post with some interest but haven't needed to post yet.

Here's what I would like to see, as would many others I believe.

We want to see a direct comparison done on the same day, same dyno, same truck, same correction factors and EXACTLY the same mods. The only difference would be the A - B test between yours and the factory manifold.
This is the only way that it can be evaluated.
Many different stock trucks make different numbers on different dyno's on different days. Anyone who mods and tests regular knows this so just pulling up a stock figure from the memory banks isn't very scientific is it?

As for giving out your information on the dyno sheet, have them print 2 and run over any details you don't want to broadcast with a Sharpie. Hardly rocket science.

If you are unwilling to do this, how can you expect any of the serious guys to be interested in your product?

So how much Hp did you gain from just the intake?
