Looks like some of you what W200's have personalized wallpaper.

Think that will work with the 205?

how did you do it? I looked up file format for .apn and couldn't look the details from Alpines files.

The canned ones from Alpine are just ok enough to keep what came on the HU

This website has a ton of .apn files. http://www.pride-rock.com/forum/apnlist.php
You have to burn the .apn files to a cd then insert the cd into your w205 and in the display settings there is a option for 'data download'. Here you can pick whatever .apn file you want for your backround.

I tried using with an CD-R and it didn't work (got a Disc Error on the 205). I suppose Alpine is pretty specific about using CD-R/RW as a disc rather than just a -R

Guess i will pick up a few.

Where did you find it? I would like to switch mine to one of these. What do they modify to make it sit flush? I had my original installation of my w200 done by someone else, but would like to switch kits. How hard is this to do?

Yes it works with XP just fine. For some reason, when I burn a disc with Vista I get bad reads.

Hey Rock, I just wanted to know how much you paid for the PXP01? Are you happy with its performance? I would imagine you still have to control everything thru the ipod still, correct? Thanks in advance

sorry for the slow response...been traveling for 3 weeks solid.

This weekend was time to clean the camper roof (oh joy). detail the camper and work in the yard.

It's nice having two ipods in the W205...just wish i could keep Itunes stable with Vista. Man vista really sucks.
