could be the harness that you used or you could have possibly grounded it to an airbag ground. Can you tell us what else you are using? Amps? Cap? Bypass?
Just guessing here....
I am about to leave the country with no access to email...hopefully someone can jump in here. I am not expert on the wiring...
Hey guys, I got the Pac TR-7 for my W205, just wondering what wire the switch has to be put on? I am assuming it would be the red power wire from the PAC unit but just want to be sure. The switch came lose from the unit with 2 wires on it

I post this question a couple weeks ago put none of the answers worked out for me, so I will clarify my question and try again.
I have a sirius plug and play radio i believe its a Starmate 4, I have it plugged into the head unit via the Ai-net port, but I am unable to get any sound from it. I had a similiar set up in my gf jeep liberty, just hooked up to a cda-9856 adn it worked perfectly. Wondering if anyone has a setup like this for the 2005 or 200 and can help me out?

How do you have it hooked up? Are you using the ai-net to rca adapter cable? The reason I ask is I have the Starmate and there is a new adapter coming out that allows control of it from the Alpine head unit. But, it takes an Alpine adapter and a yet to be released Sirius adapter. But, it allows you to use all the features of the Starmate, replay, game alert and such, straight from the head unit.
If you are using the ai-net to rca adapter, you may have to turn the aux. input on. This is in the setup menu. If you are going straight from the Starmate to the ai-net cable, I would be interested in knowing how. Thanks.
I am going from the ai-net to rca cables, i have the aux in the setting turned on. Maybe I just have a faulty cable or something, I'll have to try the cable off my girl friends head unit to see if that makes a difference.
I have seen ai-net cables on ebay that have the 3.5mm jack on the end of the cable instead of the RCAs, but I am not sure of the quality or if they would work. I would be interested in an adaptor tho if it would allow you to control the sat radio thru the head unit. Any information on it, such a release date or anything?

The Alpine adapter is out. It runs about $70. The Sirius adapter was promoted and shown at the CES show. I have called Sirius and Directed and no one seems to know when it will be released.
Here is the Alpine adapter and you can read about the SCVDOC1:
