What antenna did you buy for the GPS connection? I've ordered my w205, but unsure what antenna to get.

At least one guy on ebay has them in stock

I figure the external antenna for the B100 will work, but since Alpine refuses to update their webpage to even mention the B200 I guess I'll just keep waiting. Best of luck with your install!

That's good news RollingRock. Let us know where they installed the antenna and if you like the unit. Crutchfield still has not shipped mine yet.

After some digging around I was able to find the manual on Alpine's website.
http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/supp...lname=PMD-B200
Atleast it will give me something to do today.

Thanks

Installed and back at the camper for the weekend

GPS is way cool, glad I waited on this unit

Ant is mounted under the dash out of site.

Works well.

Tip, keep the BB door off or you won't be able to open the W250

Thanks for the guys at the shop...great job and I know he is reading this.

Hey guys, I found this thread through Google. I was wondering if anyone who has the B200 has used the phone feature. I just installed mine with my W205 and my phone syncs, but when I dial I just get silence on both ends. I confirmed this with a second phone. I'm waiting for Alpine to call me back regarding this and am wondering if it's just my unit or what...

Yes and it works great...I had the same issue you have until I back out and went to general set up on the W205 and activiated the BlueTooth through NAV

That allows for the function to take place. NOT on the BB.

Your phone will still sync up but you won't get sound until you tell the HU to use the BT on NAV.

Try that and report back. I don't have the unit infront of me to tell you where that setting is, general or settings...again not on the BB but on the W205

Cheers

JP

(when it starts to dial and you hear it through your speakers for the first time, it will make you giggle like a little school girl)

Thanks! I found the Bluetooth setting and switched it to NAV. I get audio now, but my mic is broken! I confirmed this by plugging it into my computer. I'll have to get Alpine to send me a replacement. At least I can call my voicemail and listen to that now.
