Woot! Just got my W205 today and should have it installed by Thursday night. Got it for $850.

 

Sweeet...get that thing in and post it. Mine won't be here until Friday.

I am loyal to my local installer....we have been talking almost every day for 2 weeks on this. He is not happy he hasn't received his 15 205's ordered (ordered in Jan). He is have a conversation with his Alpine rep tomorrow...if they bump him, I am going to overnight one to my house.

I called CarToys today, they were told by Alpine yesterday they are not getting there stock until June. They are not happy but they ordered late.

 

Does anyone know if the IVA W205 will fit in the 04-06 F-150's for sure because according to crutchfield it will not although I dont always believe them I could understand it with the new blackbird dock taking up more room. Thanks.

 

Crutchfield's website is incorrect. I have an 05' F150 and it will work. They all have the double din radio in them.

For sure? No, my 04 was strange. The fit kit on it vs my F250 were different. The opening is different, smaller. You are better off checking the fit kit companies site for this.

 

Mine will be here today. Ordered from Crutchfield in April. They got them in yesterday and shipped it out yesterday. I will be installing it this weekend. Please let me know if you guys have any problem getting yours installed.

 

Are there any pictures of the PAC TR-7 installed. I don't want to mess it up?

getting excited. My W205 with bypass, ipod, flush kit (which is being modified to fit flush), steering wheel controls, will be installed Thursday at 9 am!!!!

LOL, we are at 10:40 CST....I am sitting on the nice leather couch at the store...The install is going good so far. They had to do some mods on the fit kit to make it fit flush...The W200 and W205 stick out pretty far unless you make some mods.

Keep you guys posted...on the way here I did spot a nice bridge.

EDIT 11:40 CST small delay in the install. The thief destroyed the sub RCA cable that we didn't see before so they are having to re-route a new cable. Getting closer....
