Tundra,
I developed a leak at 12,000 miles, my dealership had no clue what to do so i'm at 15,000 miles now and add 2 inches of coolant every two weeks. I have another appointment this week, they supposedly have some tests they can run now to see if it is leaking. Duh

Leak began at 25K along with a serious engine problem. Intercooler is being relaced as we speaqk. The mechanoc said that the pressure test is ineffective in determining a leak and cannot reproduce actual running conditions....Ken

ARGGGGH! Add me to the list. Build date 8/4/99 Changed the oil about a week ago, level was perfect. Two nights ago she "felt" different on the ride home from work, checked the level yesterday...Down about a 1/2 from the top fill line. Goin out to check her again right now and to make an appointment for her. Also appears my allignment is royally frucked, and I still have a few other bizarre sounds emenating from my Bolt. Still totally stock after almost 2 yrs.

Dealer has mine apart now. Second trip to diagnose the problem. Total time in shop for problem to date 8 days. Five days in Jan. for testing, but no problem found? Currently in for third day this week. No intercooler in sight. Parts are back ordered, and no one can tell me when they will be avail. Started leaking at 13,500. Now have 18,300 mi.

Now driving my 16 year old El Camino. If something isn't done soon, to give me an new truck!

#3723 of 4966, built 6/7/00. Most thought that the problem was fixed on the later models built in 2000. Not so.

I just joined the ranks of those with leaking I/Cs. Best I can tell it happened at ~14.2k miles. It has lost less than 8 ounces in the last 600 miles. Dealer tested it and confirmed it is leaking this last Monday.

They received the new intercooler yesterday (less than 48 hrs after ordering it), and I'm taking the truck in Monday to have it installed.

Hello,
My little baby truck devloped a slight Core leak @ 21000 miles. (I was adding Approx 8 oz of fluid to the reservoir every 250 miles)

Then at 22500 miles she spit out a Spark Plug! Any correlation twixed the two, I don't know. One can only speculate....

My intercooler is starting to leak again and this will now be my 3rd cooler install, but the one i install next will be a better flowing one that should provide more torque than the stock one did!

Add me to the list. My L 99 #3485 born on Wed. 8/11/99 has sprung a leak at 14,200 miles. I checked it last week and it was about 1/2 empty. My L goes to the dealership on the 7th. The intercooler is now empty but I do not want to put more fluid in it. What should I do?
