I still have a Smiley face at 15,000 miles with my build date of 4/22/1999. Holding my breath. Don't jinks me here. But from what I read, it's only a matter of time.

TUNDRA! YO DA MAN...add me to the list.......12,500 intercooler leaking...resevoir down about 1/2 inch!

2000 Ford Lightning VIN#2FTZF0733YCA97995
VEHICLE #3618 OUT OF 4966!!!!

I am calling SVT tommorow..I would like to talk to Scarpello and Coletti. These 2 have a major problemo here. Any talk of future supercharger production on a Ford vehicle would be a joke...this is a public relations embarrassment! NO ONE has pursued this matter to the extent of the LAW! What happened to cajones...did I spell that right???

Whelp,

It looks like I am NOT in the lucky 99% that DONT have I/C leaks

Just got mine back from the shop today.
Intercooler replaced at 14,872 miles

I just want to add that Northside Ford in SA,TX did a good job. Against the wishes of some of my compadres here on the forum I decided to at least give them a shot. The service writer was very friendly (gave him about 8 things to look at and he added 2 others just from starting her up and playing around a bit) and I had the truck back in 1 day. As far as I can tell I have had a 100% resolution rate. I guess the real key may be what service writer you get.

I have a 2000 and the intercooler started leaking at 4,200 miles. I am just adding distilled water as it leaks, No sence in putting in a nother JUNK intercooler. I will just wait until they get a real fix or she blows.

Bought my '99 used. First IC went out at 14,000 miles. Second went out at 28,000 miles. Good thing I got the 75000 mile warranty.
