Dude , suck it up and be a man, work some overtime or get an extra job! Your going to want to mod it again and what better to mod than a built motor. Remember kharma, what goes around comes around. I bought my truck brand new in 2001 and with only 3500 miles on it i blew my motor with nitrous. I could have easily bought it in for warranty but the bottom line was i played i pay. I knew i wanted a built motor but i also couldnt afford it. It took me a year and a half to save up for everything i needed. I also did all the work myself to help save money. And you know what? It payed off. I now own one bad azz Ford pickup!!!!!! Totally built from the bottom up. Theres also a sense of pride now in it that i cant explain. You can ask anyone own these boards who know me what i went through and im not alone, there are many more of us out there. Patience is a virtue my friend, there are alot of others out there in worse situations than us, just remember that. Everything will work out for you if you choose the right path.

I own a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Limited. Plenty quick stock but much quicker now, I recently got an upgraded clutch UNDER WARRENTY. As far as this forums is concerned you can take you 2WD, 2 DOOR, Barely 3 seater, WAY over powered, Over Priced, Pick up truck and do whatever it is that something like that might be good for (cause I certainly don't know) and put it where the sun don't shine....and that would be a service bay at your local dealer, or perhaps your garage when it snows or rains. Be realistic if you want a sports car, buy one cause your pickup isn’t fooling anyone

Might want to pick the drag strip yourself cause if it isn’t perfect (i.e sand free, ice free, rock free, not too hot. not too cold ) you might spin out and hit a Ford rep who is apparently monitoring all your activity. ill ditto what matias said. i spraid my stock block many times at 18lbs plus a 75 shot on pump gas in 20-25 degree weather from rolls. and on top my motor only had 3% leakdown when pulled out.
