Just blew my engine!

The same thing happened to me 2 times,on the way to work.
Exactley as it happened to you,
I just got myself calmed down and got my truck home ,took out the program and reinstalled the stock program.
Put the stock setup back,I have a metco interchangeable pully system.
I took it to the dealer, and both times waited over 3 weeks and both times got a new rebuilt longblock with all the upgrades.
It took foreever for ford to say that they would fix it but after they saw it wasent chipped or other mods. they took care of me

The same thing happened to you TWICE? Just like that--doing a sprint with a boost? As my wife said when she read this, "If you'd have had to pay for it you'd have learned your lesson the 1st time."
someone needs to lock this thread, I get mad every time I look at it--- but it's kind of like watching someone on the side of the road with a blown engine--- you just have to look.

My last was a 2000 vette.
6 speed.
the transmission went out 5th and 6th gear only.
they tried to say i was abusing it but couldnt make it stick.
The repair was a new one from germany, and 2 months of no car.
as they say s happens I got to a point where i wouldnt trust the truck after the first motor as someone posted on this site these things are freak accidents something gives that shouldnt.with the mods that you and i have this should never happen.
Both times ny motor went after fully worming it up and accelerating hard from about 20 miles an hour on the highway on ramp.
I addoped the attitude that i almost want it to happen again so i can buy a built block.Honestly what are your chances of it happening again?

You people didnt like my reply and it was removed but this your own fault is BS.
wHEN THIS HAPPENESD to me the dealer didnt say we will look at your truck and if it is modded we will have to determine if the mods were responsible for the damage.
They told me sorry that it took so long but we needed to see if the truck was chipped, yes thats it if its chipped no warrenty.they werent going to even try to determine anything if its chipped no warrenty
Its every man for himself and dont feel bad about it.
Play thesame game they do.
If it was a fair determinization that your mods caused the breakdown,fine,live with it.but when its just a if its chipped your out you have to play their game jeff
