Pretty cool to see the progress...kudos!

You planning to keep the 4.6 shifter? Is the select shift feature of the coyote/6r80 worth going for?

Installed the new Walbro fuel pump so I dont have to deal with the bucket siphon small hose which I don't need

Also got the pump wired in to the harness grommet

Quick test fire in a bucket

Got the pump bracket installed in the tank, started working on vent lines tonight. Got a vent filter on order
Need to build a pressure hose from tank to external fuel filter and then the tank should be ready to be permanently installed.

They are retrofitted. Quads. I sent them out because I dont have time to build them with this project taking most of my time, not happy with the aiming of them, so a little frustrated that something I spent a bunch of money to be "turn key" and hands off, I now get to spend more time to fix/adjust them

Planning on using my two dynomax bullets and keeping them dumped before the axle. Undecided if I'll be keeping the 2015 convertors or not?

Many many years ago I did 40/C/40 swap on my back seat. Finally finishing that swap correctly by welding a plate to the bottom of the cab while i have the gas tank out still. This was part of my junk yard run last weekend.....

And here's both wiring diagrams laid out together to figure out how I can combine the two ignition systems into the 2003 ignition switch. More on that later on once I get back to work inside the truck

I made photo copies at work so I can highlight and make notes on the pages

Bought a repair kit so I can build a nylon fuel line to splice from the 2003 Fuel hat on top of the tank to the 2015 fuel line under the truck

Building one end of the fuel line

Heres my tank vent filter I ordered (at least the part is from a brand in the Ford family)

I chopped up the 2015 fuel hat so I could use the connectors on it. Wired them into my 2003 fuel hat. Now the 2003 tank is plug and play with the donor Coyote harness

Fuel harness completed

Tank is finally ready to go back under the truck and get installed!

Tank installed, built the other end of the nylon splice hose

All my test fitting and measuring paid off. The tank and the battery box are happy together

Tight squeeze for the filler neck and kill switch.

Modified filler neck ready to get installed

Until next time

Playing with more wiring. Extending the wiring going into the cab on the drivers side. Pics later

Trying to wrap up some loose ends, still on the quest for conversion tie rods to go from my 2015 steering rack to my 2003 spindles.

playing around on here, gonna get some ordered and see what happens

Here's my harness extension and downsizing connector pictures

Here's the original Ford harness connector engine bay to body harness

Will swap this much smaller plug in for cleaner install, and allow me to use an existing smaller hole in the firewall

And here is the completed new harnesses. Still need to tape them up

And the real exciting news is I got a real test fire on the engine, and was able to warm it up to operating temperature

I was unable to get the cooling fans to come on. Not sure if I didnt get hot enough, or if I've got am issue somewhere....

I got it up to 218 *F on my hand held, which I would have guessed should be hot enough for the fans to kick on
