and since built's 5.4 doesn't make as much power as faster's 4.6, faster's converter probably wouldn't slip at all

thanks, yea i dont want any of that crap here. Ok, jbrew lol I could spin more than that, but how it is now, it seems like nothing before.
I got my new tune today, idle is perfect, runs amazing, transmission is shifting awesome. Ok, time to datalog. I go out to the normal race spot, got everything ready, no traffic in sight, pull out, stop, decide not to stall it up, let off the brake, ease into it, then nail it, well it lights them up, hits 2nd, spins for over 100 feet, then i let off, mission failed. I guess ill have to datalog in 3rd lol... that was just crazy right there, I REALLY wish i had my video camera there, i left posi marks over 200' long... O jeez, so much power

Built. Start off in 2nd - it will hold that gear. Do not flash the TC, just nail it. Stop the log @ oh, 6,000 or so lol. 3rd on-road? Wow - I wouldn't lol.

- MGD , this might sound a little duhhhmmm - But , how do you start in second ? I thought when the gear selector was in "2" - It starts in First anyway? I don't shift at all when I race - just leave it in "D"..

Joey , you might need a "Monster In a Box" for that motor .. - But these E4OD's are purdy tough..

It's perfect outside for a second gear holeshot - It just rained

Think I'll take her for a spin..

I was thinking about my tranny options when the time comes. Would the Diesel E4OD work for me? I Know built diesel trannys come cheaper than bts, and other built models.
