I eventually had to on the jeep too.
But only after 3 years of hardcore abuse.
Dry pavement burn outs in 4wd, trails, mud, using it as a log skidder. things break and clutches burn that way.

The only reason I did, was because several were trying to unsucesfully do regular burn outs. A few had a couple of good ones. The jeep wouldn't hardly burn in 2 hi......I really had to try. So I droped it into sissie mans escape "4lo" + 3rd gear and roasted all 4 for about 15-20 seconds.

It was one of those cool moments in life. They don't happen very often for me.

At first I was concerened. It was hoping around and bucking in all directions from the wheel hop, but then the tires got momentum and started roasting.

wow i had to go to page 3 to find this thread. Ok so saturday morning i have a dyno appt. I have WOT tuned almost dead on. I have a race. dakota RT, 360, 150 shot nitrous, intake, tuned, i think thats it. Ok, so what do you guys think??? I'm pretty sure my biggest problem will be hooking, so i need to test out differnet pressures in my slicks, but if i could hook, how do you think i could do?

Cool

HI!... Is it a reg-cab or extended cab R/T? Around here the stock reg cabs go high 15's and the ex-cabs go very low 16's. Let's say he goes 15.5E.T without nitrous. With a 150H.P shot, if he hooks he should go mid to high 13's. My buddy KIRK, went 16.10E.T N/A and with a 125H.P dry shot went 13.44E.T. I believe you will have a good race on your hands.

ok so he lost by 4 lengths to 100. then one of those "ss" pickups, chevy's sport truck... well a car turned in front of me and whne that car got out of the way, he tailgated me trying to get me to get on it, so i nailed it, and left him in the dust... i guess i ruined his day
