. . . you don't need to know the current PCM calibration, correct? Its basically the same as the Superchips or Diablo tuner in the sense you don't need to know the PCM code like the Xcal 2.

Hmm....approx. equal if not more HP then TP's XCal2 (assuming all data I've read is accurate) and $100 cheaper. I like.

[QUOTE=ASEMechanic]Actually, it works like this....

230.8 x (14.7 / 12.0) = 230.8 x 1.225 = 272.73
This was actually tested on a bone-stock 06 with 87 Octane fuel. The only change was the removal of the fender snorkle (which incidently made about 5 HP). Of course, the snorkle was removed as soon as I left the lot so all dyno runs are without it.

-Hmmm. does this mean that the DWV mod can possibly produce up to 5hp ?
-Also i am lazy and dont feel like reading this entire thread again but does this tuner cancel the top end speed limiter or whatever it is called.
-I also think before everybody buys one of these, all members here who want one should agree on a dealer that will give F150online members a discount.
I likey this thing so far

I've only found two websites that are selling it so far; martelbrothers.com mentioned before and truckracingparts.com. It looks like truckracingparts gives a better deal at $440.10 - 17% ($361.28) with coupon however, neither one ship to Canada!!!

Since we all seem interested, I think we should all do as listed before and see if we can get a group buy. What do you think? 361.00 is a great price for a tuner and I would be in!

Count me in. Maybe we can get a spokesperson to talk them into an additional 10% off over the coupon discount for a group buy over say...20 orders or so from F-150 onliners.... just a thought.

I sent an inquiry to http://www.truckracingparts.com/catalog/index.php to see what they say. I will let you guys know, plus I copied the link in this thread so they could know what they were dilling with and how many might be interested in a group buy.
