Thanks for the reply - I really appreciate it. And yes, you did sound as though your had first-hand knowledge about the product.
How do you handle the ubiquitous 'stealth' flashing some dealers are doing? This seems to be driving some folks nuts, escpecially since they often forget to afix the new code sticker like they are mandated to.
Very best of luck with your product - it does indeed look quite nice. Competition is always a good thing.
Cheers

We are currently adding some other functions that will help to minimize the inconvenience of this unfortunate, but fairly common situation. I really wish the Ford techs would follow procedure, especially regarding the "Emissions Modifications" stickers that the EPA requires on ALL emissions related modifications. If someone really wanted to, they could get the dealership in hot water.... technically anyway. I doubt EPA would ever look into it.
Hope this helps.
Bill
This looks to be an awesome tuner. If it had the custom tunability that the higher modified vehicles would need I would buy one in a heart beat.
Untill that day though, i'll stick wth my Diablo.

Thanks.
I too am interested in the preorder. I would like to be on the list for shipments. I like the troyer stuff but would love the additoinal functionality. Any chance the guys with tan can get a paint code or my section of the truck is actually that silver stuff. I want it to all match! Can you send me information to james_petre@verizon.net
:santa: FROM SANTA!
Also in the picture below you state your product is displayed, I DON'T SEE ANY PRODUCT, JUST A RED HEAD!

As for the paint matching, we are looking into color injection and stuff, but I am fairly certain all the current pods will be black. The interior trim codes are usually on the door and any reputable auto paint supply should be able to get you a matching color. I have used tan and gray to paint the pillars on the 7.3L.
I'll be back later with dyno figures.

[QUOTE=bbjones56]Walt,
Still didn't recieve a phone call from you.
Someone told me that you posted up a problem, so I had to come check it out. You are experiencing something that we have already created a fix for. What the Evolution does when you first connect it to the truck is read the truck's HEX file name (the name of the calibrations file your PCM is programmed with). If you enter into the menus before it's done reading, then it wont be able to change certain Custom Option parameters. What you will need to do is turn your ignition key on (without starting your truck), unplug the Evolution for a couple seconds, plug the unit back in, and wait 10 seconds while the Evolution is in the PID display (with the four parameters, which is passed the EVOLUTION graphics and the disclaimer). After your 10 second wait (which will NOT be the case with the fix) then you should be able to go into Custom Options and custom tune your truck.
FYI - as soon as we update our firmware file on our website, I'll let you know and you can update your unit at home. Then you will never run into this again. Hope you are still loving your unit.
