Here is the final guys, Let me know if you are interested. I not sure how the group purchases work, but I guess with your help I can figure it out. We need a COMMITMENT of 20 to get the extra by Tuesday Dec 12, so let's hurry and get 20 people. Please read the e-mail below for clarification.

James,

Just talked to my partner and we figured if you put 20 together in a group, we could drop another 6% (that's in addition to the 17% coupon).
The total would be $338.88 and we will hold that price until Tuesday. If you say go, we will put up a special coupon for your group but we won't capture credit cards or place orders until the twenty are in. Tuesday deadline!

Let me know if I can help you further,

Dean

That's from realtruck.com NOT including a group offer. Don't know where he got the discount code from but it's still cheaper than the group offer and people who are still looking for real numbers or checking their bank accounts (like me) may not be able to jump into anything by Tuesday.
I'm just thinking out loud. Thanks for the help!

I will share the coupon as soon as I order mine. Unless the group buy will be less. Please understand I'm not trying to be a **** but just making sure that if 25 people jump on and order today and they yank the code I might not get the discount.

No, worries here! I am all about the cheaper price. I don't get offended easily just trying to get something together. I want this thing badly and the better the price the more likely the wife will not divorce me over it. Especially since Smeezy showed the gas mileage improvement!

Thanks Smeezy!

Ooops! Sorry! Thanks for all of your help and work with this thing.

So Smeezy, you put in over 150 gallons of gas for MPG comparisons, how about a couple dyno runs for us?

Smeezy,
using the 87 octane program, did you notice significant power improvement or was it just the firmer shifts and better gas mileage?

PIDs
The Evolution allows the user to view up to 4 PIDs at one time. There are 19 different PIDs to choose from. Below is a list and description of each:
• RPM (revolutions per minute) – Engine speed.
• MPH (miles per hour) – Note: Dash display may be +/-3 MPH off from the digital display due to mechanical differences in the spring, etc. used to control the gauge.
• ECT (engine coolant temperature) – Degrees F.
• EOT (engine oil temperature) – Degrees F.
• TFT (transmission fluid temperature) – Degrees F.
• CHT (cylinder head temperature) – Degrees F.
• IAT (intake air temperature) – Degrees F.
• LPD (line pressure desired) – Fuel rail pressure desired by the PCM.
• FRP (fuel rail pressure) – Used to control the flow of fuel while an injector has been opened.
• OSS (output shaft speed) – Used with TSS to determine if transmission slip is occurring. If OSS = TSS, no slip is occurring.
• TSS (turbine shaft speed) – Used with OSS to determine if transmission slip is occurring. If TSS = OSS, no slip is occurring.
• MAF (mass air flow) – Used to determine air/fuel ratio.
• MAFV (mass air flow voltage) – A voltage representation of MAF (from sensor).
• VCT (variable cam timing) – Number of degrees the cam is advanced/retarded in regard to crankshaft angle.
• SPARK (spark advance) – Current timing advance/retard for the spark plugs.
• TQC (torque control) – Amount of torque reduction to control traction.
• LOAD (engine load %) – Percentage of total power available being used by the engine.
• APP (accelerator pedal position)
• BAT (battery voltage)

Phonebook? I'm not trying to be an a$$ and make you spend your money but I'm sure alot of people here would like to see more than 1/2 a dyno graph from someone who works at the company. I bet your buddy at Edge would be happy if your trip to the dyno was the difference between 5 sales and 25.

I noticed a night and day difference. It has way more power on level two then stock. able to smoke the tires from a stop. it has almost as much power as level three. level three will blow your mind, i had no idea that this truck was capable of this. I would definitely suggest this to anyone!

I am with Smeezy on this one...There is a huge seat of the pants difference between stock and level two....and Level two and level three....I went back and fourth with each of them a couple of times yesterday...and then again today, and I must admit I was expecting this much of a performance increase.

Another cool feature is the ability to update the unit online...Anytime Edge changes something or adds a feature..You can plug the Evolution in to your USB port and download the new data...

Website correction

"FEATURES:
- 3 separate programs to suit all driving conditions
- The Evolution automatically makes a backup of your stock program before proceeding to add a new program so you can easily program back to stock at any time
TRANSMISSION ONLY - This is the lowest level setting and will not provide any engine performance increases but will provide firmer transmission shifts and help to increase the life of the transmission.
TOW PERFORMANCE - This program not only provides better transmission shifting, but will also modify the ignition timing and fuel injection strategies to improve performance.
HIGH PERFORMANCE - This is the highest setting for the Evolution. The fuel injection and ignition timing strategies are aggressively tuned to extract the maximum performance for your vehicle without sacrificing driveability or durability. The transmission strategy is modified to take advantage of the increased engine performance by providing quicker, firmer shifts.
- Up to an additional 12% HP gains
- Up to 15% gains in FT pounds of torque
- Adjusts speed and rev limiter & Improves throttle response
- Adjusts for tire size and gear ratio
- Displays and clears trouble codes with full code description Not only can you view and fix trouble codes your vehicle may be displaying, but you can also turn off that annoying Check Engine light when the problem has been addressed
- Displays 0-60 and quarter mile times
- 10 minute installation, No tools required"

I'm not trying to dispute what ASEMechaninic is saying, I'm just pointing out that the vendors dont advertise any increases in anything other than transmission longevity w/ 87 octane. Unless all three tunes are made to run on 87 octane?

Just letting you know, this website is not posting correct information. This wesbite knew that we were coming out with a new product, but they didn't know anything about it. So, they posted up information about our last programmer (for 1997 to 2003 F150s). You could even see that they were using a picture of our last product. So, they have the correct part number, but still need to update their information. We sent out the sales information only a couple days ago to our distributors. Anyone posting any information about our product was guessing at what the specs were on the product. We were still designing it last week! Several days ago we dramatically increased the horsepower and I informed all of our Beta testers that they need to update their units. Smeezy just updated his unit and you can tell from his reaction what an increase there is in the tuning. Just thought I should correct what was posted.
