These kind of questions must be answered before many are going to shell out the $. I am far more interested in how it runs up against the troyer tuned XCal2. I do not expect it to outperform the Xcal2 in any way, but I'd like to see how big of a difference there is between the two, I like the monitor as well.

My questions was more on how safe is it for my truck. I dont need the hassle of dealership A*&holes giving me a hard time when I bring my truck in for warrenty work. I must have called atleast fifteen places today gathering info on this Edge company and not ONE bad comment. Not all the places I called sold only edge. For the money I think it is a GREAT deal. 100 dollars less than the master himself for a little less horsepower or the same horsepower, good enough for me. I am not made of money and this damn truck is putting me in the poor house with all the crap I plan to do to it. PLAN is the appropriate word. Sure I would love to see a head to head but I think that is a little unrealistic unless some one is going to buy both and have a open mind and fork out the money to do a bunch of Dyno pulls.

Sorry guys, the thread was removed because I didn't follow one of the 13 rules. I'll see if I can get it back up there. I'm just waiting for an email back from the webmaster.

I was actually TRYING to follow all of the rules of the site. The rules state that all group purchases must be done through the "Group Purchases" thread and we need permission from the webmaster.
If he doesn't get back to me today I'll figure out another way to do it that wont get me banned.

is that so everyone can get in on the purchase? i think everyone is already reading this thread!LOL i guess we could email you direct if worse comes to worse. this is what a community is all about anyway. group buys and helping each other out. i am part of the vmoa (vmax owners assoc.) and we have a quarterly magazine and club apparell, as well as a couple thousand strong for group dicsounts all over the world! so i personally see nothing wrong with it unless someone is trying to make money off the members when not supposed to.....

That's what one of the rules say anyways. Doesn't really apply to this purchase if you ask me since this thing was only build for the 2004+ F150s and that is exactly where this thread is. I understand the rules and policies they put in place and even though I don't think some of them don't apply in this instance I can appreciate the webmaster not making exceptions for us.
I was thinking email as well as a last resort, then I'll make a post here and update it once/day with any new names I get. We'll wait and see what the Webmaster says. It's not like we *have* to order it right when it becomes available but it would be nice.

Tical,

I strongly suggest you drop the attitude if you want this thread to remain.

If he doesn't get back to me today I'll figure out another way to do it that wont get me banned.
This is an almost certain 100% way of begging me to turn down your request. As I clearly stated in my email to you (received at 11:30pm ET on Saturday, I might add, so be happy you even got a response to that note), "First and foremost, F150online.com is a commercial site. As such, one of our highest priorities is to protect the financial investment of our site sponsors, advertisers, online store and supporting vendors. Without these sources of income, F150online.com would not be available as a free resource to our users."

Considering it is now Sunday and the majority of our advertisers cannot be reached, do not expect miracles and anticipate a response either in the affirmative or otherwise this afternoon. Your professionalism and common courtesy to the operators and sponsors of this site go a long way.

As I just stated in a note to Gordon regarding this Group Purchase request...

Sorry, but I cannot approve this Group Purchase request. This product is currently listed on one of the websites of one of our advertisers, Performance Products.

Sorry about that. No attitude intended.
I didn't even realise it is Sunday (I work shift work and the days kind of blend).
Did you get my second email? I believe it has all of the information you requested. I will give you all the time needed to approve or deny this group purchase. Like I said in the last post we don't need to have it as soon as it comes out. I'll be a little more patient and respectfull of the sponsors here.

Thanks,

I went to this site and tried looking for the EDGE tuner for an 04 and 05 F150 and it says there's nothing available for those vehicles.

My guess is that they will update the website once you can actually order the unit.

I have one question though for webmaster, couldn't we get a group buy set-up from www.performanceproducts4trucks.com?
