Recently made the decision (last week) to spend a little on the ole 2014 and keep her. She is performing great and I just like the looks better than the new ones. Still like the 2004-2008 the best though. Time to spend a little on her if going to keep her. Getting a new battery today when I get an oil change, current one is 4 years old. Getting new tires tomorrow, going with Bridgestone Alenza.

She has 68,600 on the odemeter and still runs great, no oil consumption. Heading to South Texas Friday for grandson's high school graduation.

The oil change got a little crazy. Had the change done and a new battery installed at the Athens dealer. Left and went to the park where Maggie and I walk when in Athens. As I was loading her in the crate to leave, I saw a puddle of oil under the truck. It was 5:45 and the dealer closes at 5:30. I called, caught them still there, they said they would wait on me. As I was driving, they called back to see if I still had oil pressure, which I did. Turned out, the kid doing the oil change forgot to tighten the plug, it was just half way in. They topped off the oil, about 1 1/2 qts, cleaned the oil from underneath and all is good. Just a little stressful but no real damage done.

glad you caught that !

so many people would have just drove it, blew it up and then threatened to sue the place and want the kid fired.

he might have actually learned something!

How many miles did ya get on your first 5.0?? You racked em up pretty quick i think. I really loved my 2013 but after getting ruby 2017 3.5 10 speed there isnt anything i miss about my 2013. Now if i had got a 15 or 16 with the 1st gen EB and 6 speed im sure i would've missed the 13 more.

I put 135,000 on my 2005, 5.4, 85,000 on the 2011. I really like the Bridgestone Alenza Plus tires I bought today. Look good and handle very well. Supposed to be a better gas mileage tire. We will see about that.

Depending on weight there is always a good chance. Those Nitto 421Q i put on the 2013 only weighed something like 27lbs a piece. Which were less than the OEM michelin and the Coopers i had by a good margin. It got great mileage with those tires. Ever since then thats the first spec i check is the weight.

My 2014 SCrew came with the Alenza Plus tires in 275/55/20. I love the ones I have. Smooth ride is an understatement. Wet traction is great and dry traction even better. Sure made the trip from Texas to N Carolina and back an easy ride. I think you'll love them the longer you have them. I have a little over 20,000 on mine and they look new. I'll apparently swap these out due to time long before they wear out.
