Looks like 2 hurricanes may get into the gulf in a few days. Heading to Grand Isle early in the morning to get the boat and Polaris Ranger and whatever else we need to. Son in law will pull the boat and I'll take the 16' trailer with the Ranger and whatever else can fit.

 

You mud bugs sure go to a lot of trouble to live down there! Hope all goes well and you stay safe.

 

I see that Grand Isle is now under a mandatory evacuation.

Well we dodged a few bullets this week. Marco was nothing by the time it got here but we're still feeling the tail end of Laura today getting some rain and wind. Our friends in SW Louisiana didn't make out as well. Looks like a few more storms building up in the Atlantic and hope they stay away. Stayed inside today and did some painting for the wife. Hope you guys are doing OK!!

 

It'll be a few days before the highway back to Grand Isle will be open.

 

Doesn't take much to flood Hwy 1 from Port Fourchon to Grand Isle. High tides can flood it!!
