rough week here in Dallas. 5AM Monday to 7AM Tuesday we had 7 hours of power. 7AM Tuseday to 7AM Wednesday we also had about 7 hours of power... We dropped into low single digits overnight. way below freezing, and way way way below our normal temperatures this time of year

We made it out, turned into a game of survival of the fittest in a hurry. Glad I had lots of old firewood stacked up around the house....

Glad to hear Pat. These temps have been nuts.

Here in Charlotte area, we've had unbelievable amounts of rain and 20-40's. Supposed to be mid 50's.

Relief is coming this week. Supposed to be plenty of 60's. This yankee is a wuss nowadays. Glad I left the north! 🤣

We just got back to normal today. Lost electricity, water, and natural gas at our house from Monday morning to Saturday afternoon. Tried to tough it out the first few days, but once the water went we were out. Fortunately, my mother-in-law lives only 30 miles away and all she lost was her electricity for about 15 hours on early in the week.

One broken pipe in the house, but fortunately it didn’t let go until after the water went out so it only leaked about a gallon of water into the house. Several neighbors had multiple ruptured pipes with lots of damage inside their homes.

Rough week down here in Houston......😕

Yes, pretty stressful here as well. We never lost power or had any pipes freeze. Just conserved as much as possible. Started getting back to normal yesterday. The lost temp I saw on the thermometer was 1 degree. Wind chill was -18.

Burleson lived a charmed life last week for sure - my sister-in-law who lives off of Alsbury never lost anything either, while relatives up in the Colleyville area had on-and-off electricity for a couple of days and my niece in North Richland Hills lost electricity and water at her apartment for a couple of days....🥶
