Thank you! Towing the boat to the keys with it next week.

Also, I still have the Merc, so I’m still in the Ford family

Hey Bluejay,

How are those Bridgestone Alenza Plus tires working out for you? I am due for a new set and am considering those. Thanks!

I like everything about the tire except the fuel mileage. Even though they are advertised as fuel efficient, they really are not. I had my doubts since they are heavy, 40 lbs each. I was running some Yokohama’s that were good except they didn’t last but about 38,000 miles. From the Yokohamas to the Bridgestone, I lost about 1.2 mpg.

They roll soft, quiet, and handle very well. I like their looks, just not the mpg.

Chilling in a hotel room in Cedar Rapids, IA, tonight - finally had some normal Midwestern summer weather today with temps in the mid-80’s and low humidity. Felt like heaven......!!!

Sounds like heaven. Everything here is baking. 107 yesterday, just 103 today.

Trying to track down the long time original owner of the ‘01 Mustang I recently purchased to get some background on the car - mods, service history, etc. He seems to have moved from Medford, OR, to Prescott, AZ, but the trail runs cold from there. Found a “514” phone number for him but unfortunately it was a land line that has now been disconnected.

Wondering if I will be considered the true second owner of the vehicle, since the car has never been re-titled by any of the three parties who have taken possession of the vehicle since last fall.....???

That is a lot of changing hands. I would assume you are the official second owner.

Yeah - they appear to all be brokers. I suspect they all thought it was worth WAY more than it really was based on condition and mileage. The guy I purchased it from was a boutique dealer that specializes in Porsche’s and he started out thinking it was a “mid teen” car and finally sold it to me after a month or two of keeping in touch because he needed the money to help purchase another Porsche.

Thanks for the info. Fuel mileage should improve for me then. I am currently running a much heavier BFG TA/KO in LT275/70R18. I am taking it back to stock tire size (P275/65R18) since I no longer need that type/size of tire. Costco has a rebate on them with a penny install per tire. i have always run a tire with raised white letters. It will be strange to see my truck with black sidewalls.

I love the black tires look. Even if the have the white letter option, I turn them on the inside.
