Just got the last coat of wax on it until spring. The dreaded snow is suppose to come this weekend.

Believe it or not, I miss snow and the annual ritual of putting your “good cars” away for a long winter’s nap while your “winter beater” takes all the snow and salt abuse......

I miss having a winter beater. I almost bought a cheap Saturn ion a couple weeks ago but it was a bigger toilet than my Cavalier was so I passed.

When I took the truck to get sprayed with Krown last month I picked up 2 cases of the aerosol cans So I can try to keep up with it through the winter.

That's awesome to see the comparison. I'm still hoping one day that I can find a clean lightning to have for a toy.
This truck makes awesome Torque and those numbers are spinning 33's. I can't wait to get the built motor in and turn up the boost!

Been getting an occasional low oil pressure light on the ‘05 Escape - it only happens at idle after the engine has reached full operating temp. Was due for it’s 3000-mile oil change, so I went with 5W-30 this time around to see if slightly heavier oil might resolve the issue. Just rolled 215,000 miles on it so the car really doesn’t owe me anything, but it runs so nice I’d like to keep it on the road as long as possible - keeping my fingers crossed!

Bluejay - you been spending much time in Burleson? They just built a Fairfield Inn there so I’ve stayed there the last two times I‘ve been to DFW - makes for an easy get away to hop right onto 35 and then drop down to Houston on Highway 6.

Are you a Marriott guy? I have used them as my go-to for about a decade now and finally reached lifetime Gold Status. In a Residence Inn right now, lol.

Yep, spend most of my time in Burleson, spend a couple of days a week in Athens. Let me know when you are going to be here and I will let you buy me breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Went to pick up the truck from the body shop this evening and got this surprise. Wife had the lower Caribou paint applied to the lower section...same as factory scheme. Early birthday present she said. Now I know why I've been with her 51 yrs.
