What's the best product for the price? I'm one of those poor white-folk on a budget. Would it be possible to get it done for under $500?

I'm thinking 2" in the front, 3" in the rear, and I'd like to keep the ride as smooth as possible.
Thanks.

2004? Heritage or New Body?

pat will know better than me .
i have dropped some chevys. I like replacing spindles instead of springs.

I would go 2" drop spindle on the front and keep the factory spring, ride is 100% the same.

you can drop 2" in back with a shackle.

you will need an alignment.

the big question - concern is this. how many miles on the truck and if you have it down that far should you replace other parts and do a brake job while you are at it. ( ties rods, bushing, joints, shocks)

Current mileage: 132,313
Brakes - 6 months
Front end completely rebuilt - 18 months

Spindles will require 20" or bigger wheel up front

You can do a 2" spring or a 2 or 3" LCA up front
3" hanger would be best bet for the back with trying to keep factory type ride quality

You'll need at least new rear shocks, maybe fronts depending on how much you drop it

Feel free to share it around. I might even entertain a finders fee if someone refers someone to me, and I sell it for the right price

on the chevys, i was able to grind the lip off of the a -arm and run stock rims , turned locked to lock no problem, not sure of the ford.

i have done springs and holding the alignment and not wearing out tires was an issue. with spindles it drove like stock and aligned like stock,

Some of you might remember this one...

Still can't believe I wasted my money on it... but to look back at it roughly 10 years, hilarious!

Been messing with the crapiler the last few days. It was in need of some major cleaning. I think im going to give it to my Nephew. He turns 15 in may and going to start the process of drivers ed/permit and getting trying to get his hardship license. Figured it would make a great first car for him. Its been pretty great to us the last 60,000 miles.
Even if he doesnt get the hardship he can still learn to drive using it for his permit then when he turns 16 he will be set.

Plus very good possibilty im adding another vehicle to the fleet here soon. If i get it im all out of room for parking spots and with the cavalier gone itll help.
