Let's start over......
So I changed the oil in the truck today. When I started it after I filled it up, it made a very abrupt loud clacking sound that lasted about 2-3 seconds, and then engine sound returned to normal. Motorcraft oil and motorcraft filter, and before you ask, yes, I know what I'm doing lol. I'm thinking maybe it's because I put the filter on dry (it's mounted sideways, and I didn't want oil to pour out everywhere while I was installing it). So I guess the engine ran dry for two seconds or so while the filter filled up. It's running fine and sounds completely normal now, I'm just hoping I didn't damage the lifters or anything else. Thoughts?
One thing i always do is hold throttle to floor on first startvafter oil change. Turn the engibe over for a few seconds release throttle and start up.
I know what your doing. Listening for every little noise so when you trade it in you feel like you made the right descision

Ice! So much better than the 12th gen. It acutally works like its suppose to. After about 5 mins the dial is on low and turing up the temp. Its been lower 90s last week. Will be interesting when it gets to the triple digits ambient temp

Just ordered 2 Blackvue Dash Cams for the F150 and the Edge. After the cavalier dash cam saved my butt a couple weeks ago i feel its time to upgrade. The one i ran in the 2013 is 3 years old and after all the heat and cold figured it was only a matter of time before it crapped out. After what happened a couple weeks ago its well worth the 270 dollar investment. Hell it would be worth 1000 bucks to me.
