I'm still going with the mean streak, Coy has a lot of aggression to let out over his bumper! Plus the foam is too far up his back.

C'mon Coy, come clean.

Lol. He wanted to do the foam canon but the added weight on the end of the sprayer is hard for him to control. He's able to use the pressure washer by himself, When he pulls the trigger it takes him about half way down the driveway until he gets it under control

I plead the 5th on how he has soap on him

Clay?? Grab a nanoskin sponge and be done with it!

Its amazing how much crap can come off a very well kept car. What products do you use for the details of your garage queens?

If i had what you do i would do the Blackfire. Even on my truck after 9 months or regular driving its still well protected and that nice wet look. It would last 5 years on yours

I really haven't dabbled with any of the boutique products -- I pretty much run with straight Meguiar's compounds. Clay, Ultimate Compound, Ultimate Polish and Nxt has pretty much been it for the exterior, and Natural Shine Protectant and Gold Class leather cleaner for the interior.

I really need to expand my wings with my products -- just haven't had the time to mess with it the last few years.....

Once the Taurus is done, my next big detail will be the 2009 Ranger as I take it from "daily driver" level to "garage queen" level.

What are you using for heavier degradation? On the Taurus, Ultimate Compond and a foam pad didn't cut nearly as well as I hoped -- might need a more aggressive product?

I'd recommend Meguiars M101 then Meguiars M205 Polish then a good sealant (blackfire) and last step a pure carnauba (blackfire) if your going to take it to garage queen.

The Blackfire is a tad expensive but it will last you forever. I'm still going off the same bottle of sealant for the last 2 years and not even used a quarter of the bottle yet. Same with the container of carnauba.

I love how wet and deep the paint looks after those 4 steps. I think you would be really impressed.

A brutal storm rolls in... about time. So many high temp days recently, I have to wonder why it took this long.

Four months from today I'll be done with my master's program. I don't know if I'm going to make it. It's wearing me down! I'm beat 😩 Come on, December!

Lake Country Orange for the 101 and Lake Country White for the 205. The Red pad works great for applying LSP, even though i usually do Sealant and LSP by hand.

My detailing order came in while I was out on Vacay. I head back out next week for some more Vacay and will try out the Chemical Guys V4 AIO to prep the truck for the trip. Curios how it works. When I get back, it will get a full and proper paint correction.
