Hand calculated came to 19.66

Put 42 miles on it from the fillup this morning and its showing 24.2 at the moment

DTE of 668, guess you have the 35 gallon tank too?

Yea 36 gallon. Ill probably fill up at a half tank like i did this morning. It was 50 bucks from half a tank (to be fair it was also shell supreme at 2.95 gallon) if i woukdve done any other brand supreme it wouldve been about .50 a gallon cheaper

Here's my old girl after a bit of love today. I finally got around to getting the coating on the passenger side. I already corrected the paint, so just had to wash it and strip the wax off.

Truck looks great!! I see you have a good helper also...

Its amazing how much more refined this truck is compared to a 4 year old truck. Extremely quite. no road noise to speak of and cant even tell when the transmission shifts.

Ruby Red was a lady of the night in the Storyville district in New Orleans in the early 1900's. A famous hamburger joint in the 60's took over the building!

Beautiful truck and I'm sure Ruby will be well loved!!

It sure is...1/2 bath..TV..washer/dryer hookup..AC..retractable queen bunks..8x11 area with tie downs. Makes a great big room to eat in with a folding table and chairs if the weather is bad. A stop at a rest area lets you access the garage from the rear side door if you have to take a quick nap or use the bathroom. Generator provides AC or heat. This area is real versatile. Rear door can be folded down for a ramp or made into a patio. Great for taking the grandkids.

About to roll over 70k miles, and I'll be towing a boat to the keys in a month. Any particular maintenance/services I should do to the truck before I go?

It's almost due for an oil change and tire rotation, which I'll be doing before I leave. The tires themselves are perfect. I changed the spark plugs at 50k and had a coolant exchange performed at 60k. I have a good drop-in air filter in place, and I cleaned the MAF/MAP sensor at about 50k as well. The brakes are not factory - I had to replace front pads and rotors at about 35k due to rust and a sticking caliper. They've been squeaking a bit here lately but the pedal feels fine.

I think that covers the major things I've done. Anything you guys think I should look into before I travel?

Sounds like you have the truck covered...now for the boat! Check trailer tires...wheel bearings...lights and have good tie down straps. About 350 miles is the farthest I've ever towed a boat and made sure I did those things in advance. Trailer tires and wheel bearings can drive you nut's with a boat trailer.

Trans service either now or when you get back. I like 60-75k range on the trans fluid

IMO, just a good walk-around and check the usual fluids and maintenance items. Seems like you have all the big items taken care of.
