Had a caliper hang-up again on the old LTD -- replaced both of them for the second time, cleaned-up the rotor faces, and threw on some new pads as well. Then I accidentally ran the thing out of gas taking it back to storage. I've been trying to run it down low because I want to pull the tank and have it cleaned out and coated -- guess I cut it a little too close.....

The heat has arrived...91 with high humidity. My Bak MX4 bedcover was delivered yesterday and waiting for my grandson to come over and help with the install. Glad I have a large carport with shade!!

MX4 on a F-150 5.5 bed...the 8' model is huge!

Got back from a 3 day backpacking trip in the Ouachita Mountains 26 miles in 3 days

All is well, had lots of downed trees in the area after the storm overnight Saturday night/Sunday morning

That sounds like fun! If you ever want to venture up this way, I can take you on some pretty epic hikes.

Just booked our Colorado vacation for october up in the mountains. getting away from colorado springs a little bit. Ended up about 40 miles west. Glad i ended up with 4x4 truck. After we made the reservation i found this video on their website on the driveway. Raining or snowing looks to be a little treacherous especially for a west texan

Washed the wife's Taurus this morning and noticed a big slice in the sidewall of one of her rear tires. My original plan was to run the factory tires one more year but this kind of tipped my hand -- headed over to Discount this afternoon and ordered a set. The sad part of the story is that if I had known one day earlier I would have gotten a much better deal -- Discount was running some hefty promotions over the Memorial Day holiday that all expired on Monday.....

Truck made it onto the Dyno today. Unfortunately, something was off with the calibration and the numbers just don't look right. I'll be working with Mike @ MPT to see what he says and then go from there. I'm going to guess that the Gas was way off from it's expected Octane rating when I saw how high the Knock Rating was getting.

Still was a fun day!
