I'd do the Weathertechs -- but I'm thinking you'd have enough leftover to powdercoat the toolbox as well.....???

That's dang good -- wonder how much you'd gain if it were a regular cab/short box truck.....???

Yeah I'm already getting the powdercoating done. He said he'd repair a weld on the toolbox and powdercoat it glossy black for $60. That's not even coming out of the $300. I do like the sound of the Weathertechs. I think I can get them for around $200.

What should I do with it??

I recently added a Boost Bar and Raptor/HD tail lights. I plan to replace my chrome toolbox with a black one, but I have a friend who has a metalworking shop and he is able to powdercoat my current one for me, so I'm considering going that route instead of buying a new one. How about some Bilsteins? Or maybe Weathertech liners? EDIT: Other options could be a Yeti cooler or a new handgun. Or I could be smart and put it in my savings account

Any ideas?

Hmm. Didn't even think of that. Where did you get yours, Coy? Just found this one:

http://www.stage3motorsports.com/701...ar-Tuning.html

Also, while the idea of tuning the truck is appealing, I don't really want to run 93 octane gas. I'd rather stick with the 87 - it already costs enough to fill up. Is it worth tuning it if I'm only using 87 tunes?

Got the oil and tires changed on granddad's car. Frightened me a lil to drive the thing, just in the driveway. saved a good bit of money at it though

Yes it is worth it! Even running my 87 5 star tow tune is a world of difference. 91 and 93 PERF tunes is just a fun factor . It for those hemi's and 5.0 owners that think their trucks are fast, you punch it at 35 both tires start screaming until 50 and you are 5 truck lengths ahead before you know it

5 star is a good company but i got mine from MPT. They have about the best customer service there is and the tunes are awesome. They can change anything you need them to get the truck to your liking.

They also have a discount code for the forum with should get you around the 400 dollar mark.

I also have 5 star and really like the tunes but always go back to MPT.

If you need help with what tunes feel free to PM me. I have most all the tunes from the 2 companies. Dewserb also has alot of experience with the 2 companies and would help you also
