His wife is forcing him to sell his truck and use the money for a new minivan for her and the kids. That's the last picture he got of it as the new owner loaded it up and took it away.....

Feels like our monthly reminder we're still in winter. Temps dropped down into the mid 40's and with 15 mph winds feels like the upper 30's. Past few weeks we've been in the upper 70's. Taking the grandsons to the monster truck jam at the superdome tomorrow. The 3 yr old loves the monster trucks and we're going to surprise him. We even got pit passes so he ought to really like that!

The wife is out of town this weekend on a "girls trip" with a bunch of her teacher friends up to Fredericksburg -- just the boy and me the next couple of days!

Next week is shaping up to be brutal -- looks like I'm going to have to make two separate runs up to Dallas. Going to feel like I'm riding in style though -- I'll be making both trips with the '05 Escape instead of the Cavalier.....

 

Finally got Fiddy's oil change done. Whopping 600ish miles in 15 months
