Nice! Looks familiar, lol. We've had ours for over 4 years and other than the brake booster failing, it has been very good to us. The wife loves it. There are 5 of them in the family, no real issues to speak of.

Those Maxima's haul pretty good. I'm also partial to the looks of them, I think they are one of the best looking sedans out there.

Only a few minor differences in those years between the lincolns and Fords. The newer ones have a few more differences in options, but still mostly aesthetics.

Is that the white Platnium? I like the color when in the sun! I didn't get to notice that yestetfay when looking at it as the sun was already going down

Yup, it's the white platinum pearl. It does look really nice in the sun, looks like it has a we bit of flake in it (but may be the pearl).

I'm almost about to say screw the car shoppingarage or step away from ford for this car. Every damn vehicle we find that she likes has the 3.5 v6. After hearing and reading on the Internet I don't really want one due to the water pump running off the timing chain and when it goes it's very expensive and can even lead to motor replacement.

So far we have found em in the Taurus, edge, explorer aND flex which are 4 main vehicles that we like from ford. Really not wanting to go new cause she drives 8 miles a day to and from work. I just don't see paying the extra for a brand new vehicle.

I also have noticed about every 3.5 vehicle that's sitting at the dealerships have right at 60k give or take, it's like people know about the issue and trading em off right before or after warranty ends

After all day searching I only found one edge with the 2.0 eb and they were at the 19,500 mark and not budging.

Also found another Taurus limited 2013 model, I'd hate to have bought that one new. It was 38k and 4 years later they are selling it for 13500. That's a hell of a hit on a 4 year old car!

With the small amount of driving she does why spend so much on a vehicle? Seems like an awful lot of dinero to drop just to haul someone's behind around 16 miles a day?

Take a few months and keep watching eBay for a decent 5-10 year old vehicle with low miles from a private party. In fact, there's a really sweet 26,000 mile Fusion up in Flower Mound that I'm watching right now!

Something like that would make perfect sense for the little driving she does!

Just give her your EB and you drive the red truck or the Mercedes. As far as that goes, no more than she uses it, give her the red truck. Sure would save a lot of money.

My wife loves this Infiniti QX-60...just the right size and averages 24 mpg doing it. Can hit 28 mpg hwy going on trips. With 3 rows of seats it can haul 7 people but we leave the last row down for more cargo room. 24K miles in less then 2 yrs already.

She don't want to drive the EB (go ahead and insert joke) it's been sitting now for almost 2 weeks in the garage and offered it several times. Same as the red truck.

She seems to like the Mercedes and I'm toying with the idea of fixing the damage and she drive it. It just rolled 106k. But then again it's had the head gasket problem and running off that bars leak head gasket fix stuff since last April. Hate to put a money in repairing that and they head gasket blows again.

Just sucks, so many nice ford models and scared to buy any of em with the 3.5. Good thing about it is she keeps vehicles for a long time so if I find a 50 or 60k mile vehicle it'll last her 10 or 15 years easy with the few miles she drives

I hear there's a really sweet low-mileage Expedition that might be for sale in the Burleson area -- I wonder if that would be an option?!!

The wife is considering giving it to our grandson. I can just imagine how it will look after a few trips to the river bottoms with all his fishing gear in it and a kayak on top.

I have to get it out and drive it soon. Maybe this weekend. Installed a new battery about 3 months ago and it has never been started to see if it is good.
