Got another set of at prime wells for the work van and about the same thing.
If it goes higher than $5000 I'd probably pass -- although if you were looking for good, basic transportation even $6000 wouldn't be a bad price for that car. I have a brand new set of tires for mine (same size as what's on that car) sitting in my garage that I haven't mounted yet, so the "no-name" rubber on it right now wouldn't be an issue for me.

all nice and clean and smelling fresh after a 8 hour day at the detailer and one stinky *** dead coon.

Looks like I've adopted another vehicle, dad said he doesn't want it back over there so it gets to stay at my house. Bout to run out of room again! Lol

Coy I would drive the hell out of that thing. Love that generation. I'd park the EB and save it for the heavy lifting and fun and make the red one a daily driver

I'll trade you a mint condition Grand Marquis. One 4.6 for another I'll come to you lol.

I think I'm gonna drive it twice a week. I usually average 40 to 50 miles a day so 100 miles a week won't be to bad. With it just rolling 42k I don't want to rack up the miles to much but also it sure didn't help it sitting for months at a time either. I enjoy driving it but between the other vehicles after about 4 days I'm ready to jump in the eb

back in the day I thought the 4.6 and 5.4 were pretty peppy, now not so much. Haha

Yup I still remember standing on Fiddy during her test drive from the dealership and feeling the power when it dropped down gears, and lifted the front end up real high

This week was the first since last Spring where I didn't have to travel somewhere for work -- it felt strange to be home for an entire week! Even had enough time to take the old LTD our for a run yesterday afternoon since the weather was so nice!

Got our year-end incentive bonus with this week's paycheck -- this was one of those years where all the stars aligned to give us a pretty hefty bump to our annual income! Man, it sure would be nice to hit a payday like that every two weeks -- it must be good hanging-out in the thin air of the VP level.....

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it will be spent on anything fun -- probably going to use the money to replace the AC unit in the house. The one that came with our house when we purchased it new is coming up on 15-years old and was kind of a lemon to begin with.

Swung by the local Ford dealer this morning just to look around. They had a Focus ST on the lot that was actually a pretty neat looking car -- might be fun to have a little "hot hatch"......

They would make a fun daily, as long as you don't do a ton of traffic

Technically it's mine, we changed all the titles over to my name about 2 months ago, since he's about to turn 86 next month. He just said no reason to store it back where it was and have the same problem in a few years. Asked me to drive it often and treat it like my own. So that's what I'm gonna do.

Kinda like the 99 M class. I've had it almost a year now and he's never asked anything about it or wanted it back to drive it.

It's technically mine also and title in my name but I won't dare say that to her, if I did I would probably get chased out with the broom swinging

She said a couple weeks ago it jusy rolled 13k.

It's sitting at 23 and change with a day left. You still considering it?

I'm keeping an eye on it but I think you're going to see the bids shoot up the last five minutes of the auction -- no way it's going for that.....
