Spent most of the day on a creeper beneath the '09 Ranger -- I've been detailing the underside of it bit-by-bit to bring it from a "daily driver" to "garage queen" level of cleanliness. I think I am finally finished with the cab area of the truck and ready to move to the bed area. I'm thinking the back half of the truck should be a lot less tedious as most of it is just large expanses of formed sheet metal.

Suffice to say that once this awful task is finally completed there's going to be no more driving that vehicle unless there is no chance of running into a passing thunderstorm.....

Exactly! I had to empty my fridge into my coolers a few hours after the power went out, and I have one full of nothing but alcohol

The worst of it is mostly behind us. Right now it's in NE Florida slamming Jacksonville and St. Augustine. We had a really nasty morning and afternoon with some pretty rough winds (ours got up to around 56mph according to our city's official sit rep), but it's slowed down here. It's still really gusty and rainy outside, but so far the worst part has just been losing power. Fortunately I had my trees trimmed a few months ago and I cleaned my gutters before the storm came in, so no major damage.

I hope you have some kind of floatation device on that beer cooler just in case there's any flooding

I'm glad to hear you didn't get the brunt of the storm. I seen some videos of areas that got flooded and it looked horrible. Really feel bad for everyone that's dealing with that.

Yep -- losing power after a hurricane is the worst part of it! We usually just blow out of town and head to the sister-in-laws place in Dallas until the lights come back on!

Thank you! Yeah, the coast is not looking so good. The state hasn't seen one this bad in a long time.

Haha, well the only family I have that's not in this county is in Charleston, SC and they're about to get it worse than we did!

Hope the worst is over for Florida...looks like the Georgia and South Carolina coasts are next. About 8 yrs ago we were hit by Hurricane Gustav and bought a natural gas powered generator. Only needed it for 2 days since then and 2 hrs a few months ago. Have a good time cleaning up the mess!!

Wasn't trying to win, just wanted to see what a wot pull with no boost launch would do.

Sell me your lights and you won't have to worry about me running high beams. These knock off black heads flat out suck for light, have no choice but to go back to my oem chrome heads for the trip coming up.

Had a buddy buy these black ones for me and he said he saw the Ford logo on them, ended up it was just a circle. Lol.

My old flip phone finally bit the dust. I might have to get a smart phone and be one of the cool kids now
