Had a kid this evening ram into the truck tailgate on a golf cart! We were in a mobile home Park checking out rentals for the SIL, put down the tailgate to sit on it while waiting, after a few minutes she texted asking if I could bring her wallet to her. I got inside the office and heard a loud collision. looked out the window and a golf cart was up against the truck and tailgate about 3/4 the way up. 9 year old kid took dad's golf cart to drop rent off, it was getting dark and the cart had no lights he said he didn't see the truck.

He had a pretty good gash on his head but thank God for the metal cross bar around the windshiekd area other wise his face would've been in the tailgate.

As far as I can tell I don't see much if any damage on truck. come daylight I'll be able to tell. Called the police and got a report incase there is damage. kid seemed ok so that's the main thing

Pulled the Raptor wheels out of storage. Got two polished up and hope to get the other two done tomorrow. Then I'll hit them with Opti-Coat 2.0.

I'm on the fence about running the rubber one more season or coughing up the cash for some new AT's that I can run year around if I wanted.

Actually, I did have the System Saver light pop up one time in the spring after I drove it. I'm not sure what that was about, it hasn't came back on since.

Okay, cool, thanks. What about the ethanol in the fuel? I have Sta-Bil treatment I use for my boat, should I throw some of that in there?

I Ended up with 3 vertices scratches on the plastic part of the tailgate and literally a knick of pain off by the handle... Maybe all the wax saved it?

I've liked mine, really good in the rain. I will likely run them until they are wore out. Much, much better than the wrangler SR-A's that were on the original 18's.

I will warn you though, they are likely heavier than what you are running now. Your new combo is 78#'s a corner. Not that the 5.0 will have any issue with them

Looking forward to some pics!
