Just bought the nephew a ps4 for Christmas to help SIL since her money is super tight. I stayed 45 mins in the pawn shop negotating. They were ready for me to leave but I got it for 160 OTD. We started at $249.99

That headgasket in a bottle has worked great so far, not a drop of coolant used in 5k miles. The heater blows hot and all that. it may actually be a a decent product that doesn't clog everything up.
I think I might be getting old -- I'm starting to like the way trucks look with toppers on them! It used to be that seeing a topper screamed out "grandpa truck" to me......
Anyone have a idea how to make a 13 year old kid not slam my freaking truck doors?? I tell him twice a day and he slams it so damn hard I'm expecting a window to bust!!!! He pissed me off yesterday at the end of school after slamming it and I made his butt ride in the bed of truck home to maybe teach him a lesson. this morning slammed it so hard the windows in the house rattled. That has to be my biggest pet peeve
Just tell him next time he slams the door his hand is gonna end up in the door and slammed again
I figured the humiliation of his mean uncle grabbing him yesterday and putting him in the truck bed would fix it, but it didn't. Giving him one more chance today, if he does it again I'm kicking him out and making him walk home. it's only a tad over a mile yet he doesn't think he can do it cause he's tired after athletics. spoiled rotten brat is the problem.
Maybe I'm blowing it out of proportion but I hate door slammers. I've never had a Ford that the doors have to be slammed.
wait til he hits 16, you will wish you were back to the biggest problem being slammed doors.
take away his phone, games or something he likes for a week. of coarse next he will baby it and you will be driving down the road with wind noise and the bell ringing that the door is open.
Had the same problem with my son and the Cavalier when I first got it -- drove me nuts! I resolved it by simply saying "gently" to him every time he got into or out of the car! I would always say to him, "Remember -- it's a fine automobile".......
He ended up walking home today, He threw his back pack in the floor board told him not to slam it and it didn't even get out of my mouth until he slammed it again. Shut the truck off went around to the passenger door opened it, sat his back back pack at the curb and told him to get out. He did slowly. I took 2 fingers and barely pushed on the door and shut it. Told him to start walking and maybe he can remember tomorrow. His coach was laughing the whole time.
Of course he started whining to my SIL by text telling her I'm mean and she needs to come get him so he doesn't have to walk. She actually told him he did it to himself, he got home laid on the couch and never said a word. he's been asleep since 6pm.
