is this kids mom the one who bounces around and dad is not around?

if so you might need to think a little deeper on this one.

my sister got divorced, dad started acting like a teenager again, sister went nuts and the kids paid the price. As their unlce I tried to have patient and understand they were not as lucky as me to have solid role models for parents. my dad taught me how to shake hands and look people in the eyes when you meet them, do you know how many guys never got that? can this kid do it?

Looks good. What tires did you get? Can't really tell in the picture.

In the next week or 2 I'm gonna bite the bullet and get a set. At first I was going to get the Terra Grapplers since I had them on my old truck and liked them but I think after doing some research on the Toyo AT2 they'll be the tires I get. I was going to jump up to a 285/65/18 but for only gaining about a 1/2" I decided to save the $300 and stick with the 275/65

Plus I'm not sure the 5.0 could turn that extra 1/2" of rubber

She's the one, she is a good mom for the most part but the older he gets the more he thinks he can run over her. She doesn't fight back and let's him do it. I have never seen a kid back talk a parent like he did when he first got here. I put a stop to that also and now he says yes sir no sir yes maam etc.

Dad tries to be around but mama talks so much crap about him it sinks into the kids head and now he really doesn't like him.

She told me I've been more of a father figure the last 3 months then he's had in a few years. Guess I'm old school but I will not let a 13yr old kid run the show. if he does something I don't like he finds out quick. When he back talks mom I get on his butt. The door slaming has been the latest with him, but today after school he shut the door perfect. Mission Accomplished!

Saturday we are moving them to her new house, thank God! we have been out hundreds and possibly into the thousand mark now trying to help her out. If she can't make this deal work then we can't help anymore, enough is enough we need our life back with me the wife and my son.

that reminds me of the 03 KR. last set of tires I bought for it I decided to step up from a 275/60/17 to a 285/70/17 Nitto A/T and the truck was a pure dog. it wouldn't get out of its own way . Went back to discount tire 2 days later and they swapped em out for a set of Yokohama street tires and she was back to the way it was suppose to be.

Thanks, They're 265/70/17s, no big name brand tires, just generic in-house tires from a local-ish department store, but they were cheap and will probably outlast the poor old truck. I had the reverse decision, I was tempted to go 2 sizes smaller, but the savings would have been only 60 or so bucks, so I axed that thought pretty quick.

Toyos are good, and I don't blame you for 300 bucks savings. 275s aren't a bad size, I had 275/70/17s on my old 99 before she died.
