Let's start over......
Falstaff was headquartered in St.Louis and they also had a brewery in New Orleans. A real popular beer way back in Bluejays day!! New Orleans also had Jax..Regal and Dixie breweries up until the past 40 yrs or so. Abita beer in Abita Springs, La. is the only brewery around the New Orleans area now that I can think of.
Are Dixie and Jax still being brewed?
I know back in Minnesota the trend among the "twentysomethings" is to drink either craft beer or local brands that their grandpa's might have drunk back in the '50's and '60's. Back in the Midwest this would mean brands like Grain Belt or Leinenkugel's, here in Texas I suppose it's Lone Star and Shiner.

Craft beer is huge. I can't drink the cheap crap. It's disgusting and all sugar. The bud light commercial where they knock craft beer is comical. They produce legit garbage compared to microbrewery or larger craft beer companies. And most cost similar so that's good. I've had shiner, not bad.

I've never been a huge beer drinker -- most of the brew I buy is used for par-boiling bratwurst before I grill them. Once in a blue moon I'll have a beer while I'm out on the patio grilling steaks, but that's about it. If I bought a 12-pack it would more than likely last me all year.....
Bunch of complications came about from the knee surgery....it's a friggen short but long on pain list....now I got the company phone back and can post again....wifey took the Internet away while I was laid up
Took the escort race car out and the poor little thing is a monster. I'm faster than everyone else except a completely lightened neon with a cam in it. My car is pretty well full weight even has floor mats in it still. Gonna be gutting the interior tomorrow. Guy from the track is gonna cage it for me Monday. Once I sell a few things out of my garage the race car will find a permanent home and be ripped right apart including all windows out
