You don't have ABS on yours? Mine does, although it's kind of an archaic late-90's version of the feature.....

Nope, which is very strange for a 04. Figured it would be mandatory.

My sister's 2005 Corolla didn't have ABS either

ETA it might have been 2006?

im gonna sum up the last 2.5 pages of this thread. A v8? Seriously? Ask yourself this. Does it have enough power? Is it fuel efficient enough? As a whole does it fulfil my needs? What else do you want. And ABS. Only reply to that is if you've driven in winter. And by winter I mean 6 months of frozen roads you wouldn't want ABS. Everything I own ABS is disabled.

If it does not sound like a v-8, it does not meet my needs.

Looks as if it turned out well -- I wonder how durable the finish on those pieces will be over time?
