Got to use the heater in my truck the last two days and it still works! High 20's this morning with a wind chill in the mid teens but sunny and no rain!

About this time last year my wife took my '09 Ranger out for an errand and came back and told me the heater wasn't working. I thought she was crazy so I took it out for a ride myself and sure enough she was right!

I got to thinking about it and it dawned on me that up until that point I had never even turned its heater on in the seven years I had owned it! Still haven't gotten it fixed -- I'm assuming it's probably the blend door actuator or something like that.

I've always run my heater year round just to circulate everything. Maybe every other month. Just finished cleaning out the fireplace so I can burn more artificial logs...termites ate my real firewood!

I started in on a 4000 piece puzzle yesterday, took about 4hrs to get all the pieces halfway sorted, and turned face up.

My 4000 piece puzzle is only 1/8th of the big puzzle that's 32,000 pieces

I saw the pic on fb, you're crazy! Will you preserve it once done?

I'm so psych about the 2018 powerstroke 150. Can't wait to drive one

It's my brother's puzzle, but yes he plans to preserve it and mount it on a wall in his house

I'm wondering if we've switched back to summer gas. Sure does seem early. Cavalier got the best mileage ever a week or so ago and now the truck.

Truck has been all in town

Weird -- the last tank of gas I ran through my Cavalier got me the WORST mileage I've had with it in awhile -- 25.87 mpg. And that was with virtually all highway miles -- before that I had been averaging around 31 mpg for quite a few tanks in a row.

I've got a trip down to Corpus Christi and back on the books for this week and I'm going to watch the mileage to see if that last tank was just a fluke. If not, I might go ahead and do a full tune-up on it since I am approaching 90,000 miles on the factory plugs and wires.
