Well i found out the MPG problem with the Cavalier i have had the last few months. Apparently the tires need air in the them, Whoops! Had a flat on the right rear last night and decided to check the pressures. LR 10psi, LF 16, RF 14
Those Chinese tires are hard to tell when they are low, sure didn't look that low.

Yea, well i wasn't thinking on the tuning aspect of it. Had planned to get LET in houston to do the tune but they sort of fell off the eb tuning platform. Its a long drive to MPT
Come this summer i will be putting my intercooler on though, no doubt.
You should try to make the trip to MPT one day! It's just outside of Orlando, only about 45 minutes south of me. I'm off work in the summertime, I could tag along

I just have to change plans from Colorado to Florida this summer. Think the wife will suspect somethings up though since my excuse for Colorado in summer was to escape Texas heat.
True Dat. Guy at Walmart said I already have 3 patches on the flat tire and 3 is the max but he would go ahead and do another one even though he wasn't suppose to. So I definitely see new tires in the future. Figuring around 60 to 70 a tire so not bad at all
I had the cruise set at 65 on the way to where I was going and was just over 21mpg. On the way back home I had it set at 70 and it dropped to 19 mpg.
I'm thinking it's about time for a new battery. When I got home and shut the truck off the battery saver message popped up
Hey, I'll never win the MPG battle lol. I'll leave that to you guys. I average about 15-16 around town and 17-18 highway (unless I'm towing the boat). I checked out of that argument a long time ago I just love this engine because the torque is so much fun
And to be honest, that mileage still isn't bad considering how big and heavy the truck is.

I wouldn't care if it got 5 mpg, I just wanted to join the mpg picture club
It's almost like a game though trying to see how high you can get the number. My overall average is 16.

Word of advice if you get a battery from dealer have them reset the BSM as part of the install ( they can do it via Their puter). If your getting it somewhere else you can do it yourself. Unhook both battery cable for 30 mins, put terminals back on, close hood and don't touch truck for 12 hours. Like not even lock, unlock open door or anything. Chances are if you don't reset you will keep getting low battery message and your new battery won't last as long.

What tires do you have on yours? I had a Wal-Mart gift card leftover from the previous Christmas that I applied toward new tires (Uniroyal Tiger Paws) when I picked mine up back in Minnesota in 2014. The tires that were on it looked great, but I suspected that they were the factory originals and I didn't want to take the chance of running 17-year-old tires on the drive back to Texas!
I am planning on replacing my tires again this fall and am not sure what I am going to run this time around.....

Didn't know that, I'll make sure to reset it when I replace the battery. Thanks!
